    Think thats Cinimod Junior beating Skipper Dale(his shadow roll gives him away I think), may have been the old Pan Am Mile? He won a Wellington Cup but got D'd over a caffiene positive I recall. Fergy minus his moustache, less wind resistance.

    Did say hard, not tough there Gamma, us Mainlanders need some sort of lead., lol. Sits nice in the bike that man, mmm, wonder if it’s a self portrait….and no overcheck for the horse…aluminium cart so probably’80’s, just have to sort those colours.

    1995 Interdominion Final The best performance I've witnessed live, gave them all a start and a beating did that Aussie Golden Reign. What I noticed was Chokin's colours in the background, but he wasnt in the finish after that skirmish that Blossom Lady caused by letting Golden Reign go and then trying to come out a bit late,remember Master Musician being wiped out, but I think he got promoted post humously after Victor Supreme, fly eyes hood( leg liniment) & Young Mr Charles(caffiene?) got disqualified. What a great run.

    Looking back I wonder how those horses would’ve performed under the new whip laws, gee we did use to get into them, (Bruce Clark, your arse would be sore Gamma), don’t think Inky Lord would’ve won his NZ Cup without Ricky May getting into him, may have ran on for 5th maybe, guess everyone was doing the same. A good horse will always be a good horse but others needed a little bit more persuasion. Gammalite a tough taskmaster, like see how far the Aussie could run with cracked heels, some excitement machine was LM.

    Typical Aussie, blurting out half way through a race, loose reining with a lap to go, running into oxygen debt. The race is to the finishing post mate, not before. ps good job again 👍

    Geez he ran them, did our Blair. Well done that man 👍. Turned it into a mile race after a stroll through the first bit, and I’ve always said the best stayers win miles, can click the sub quarters over & over. Thanks again Gamma for the entertainment, certainly keeps one’s interest, be lost without that. Maiden win? That was a long time ago last century 😎.
