Meeting 7-Addington R1-2 Algranco Albyone.Has got good gate speed,so should find the lead pretty easily.Will be hard to beat if able to dictate. R2-3 Zsa Zoe.Nice fresh up run for 2nd last week.Should be improved with it,and can go close to winning this. R3-8 Immortal Change.Got home well to place last week.Strikes an even lot here but can definitely take this out. R4-6 Medusa.Is going really well at the moment,and just got done late by race rival last week.Going well enough to turn the tables in this. R5-1 Kingslayer.Going well in his last 2.Got the draw here to lob handy.Will be tough to beat with luck. R6-6 Monkey's Way.Hasn't raced since winning back in May,but by all reports trainer is happy with him.Has a good fresh record and he'll be hard to beat in this. R7-5 Franco Riot.Going well at the moment,and just went down to a nice type when having his first run in this grade.Will be hard to beat in this. R8-2 Paravani.Good effort to place behind a couple of nice types last wee.Has the draw to be handy and can feature in this.

Meeting 6-Addington R1-1 Locked Out Of Heaven.Went ok for 2nd last time out.Does get the pole draw here.Could get a nice run in the trail and be there at the end. R2-3 Stately.Another solid placed effort last week.Surely tonight can be the night for her. R3-5 De Lancome.Been far too good for them in her last 2.Racing in career best form and she looks hard to beat here. R4-8 Hit The Sky.Just nailed by a handy sort last time out here.Stand start manners are good.Can play a part in this. R5-3 Gran Chico.Massive wraps on him prior to his debut last week where he charged home late for 2nd.Be improved for this and can win. R6-2 Dream About Me. Was good when running 2nd fresh up last week after doing some work.Can turn the tables on her stablemate in this. R7-7 Wrangler.Another solid effort last time out.Probably find the lead at some point and be hard to catch. R8-13 Tijuana Taxi.Nice mare who was good when placed here 2 weeks ago.Big chance as long as she does everything right. R9-3 Delightful Tanner.Just missed last time out .This field doesn't look overally strong so can win this.

Now that Jake Bayliss is back in the country and riding race day from tomorrow.I wonder how long it will take for the bookies to put him into the market?.As i remember reading that if he did ever come back,he'd be after a premiership win,as he believes it will open doors for him.I guess at the moment you could ring them up and they'd give you a price...no idea what they'd give ya tho?.

Meeting 5-Addington. R1-1 It's A Deal. Led up and got run down last week.Drawn the pole so could get a nice trip.Can be thereabouts at the end. R2-3 Stately. Been run down in her last 2.Been so consistent so far.Drawn better than some of the other fancied runners.Can get a deserved win here. R3-7 Blue Coman. Was big in defeat last week.Only has to trot the whole way to be really hard to beat in this,. R4-2 Be Mine Tonight. Has been in good form and does have good gate speed.Should get to the front and could run them along. R5-12 Georgia's Baron.Ran a couple of nice trials to be ready for this.Stable always has them ready to fire.Draw not good but can still deliver. R6-10 Firenze.Strung 2 wins in a row before zipping home late for 2nd last week.Drawn the backmark but manners are good.Can rack up another win here. R7-3 Captain Dolmio. Been away for a while but has been going good at the trials.Smart type who can win this fresh up. R8-6 Miss Moppet.Went ok at times last prep.Has had a workout for this.Can run well in this. R9-4 Hayden's Meddle. Was good when 2nd to real nice sort last week.Can get a much deserved win in this., R10-8 Just Dance. Fresh up after last running in the Jewels.Gets a horrible draw for this but does have more ability than most in this,so a win wouldn't surprise.

Yip i remember when Leo had quite a few of Bruce Francis's horses,were good winning times for him.

R2-2 Melton Reactor.First starter who was beaten at the workouts by a nice sort recently.Has the draw to figure in this. R3-1 Change The Print.Sent out fave on debut and disappointed.Will be improved by it and from the draw he can dominate and be tough to beat. R4-4 Sharnae.Been good this time in.Drawn nicely here and her first win looks close at hand. R5-4 Shadow Minister. Been racing well for a while now.Stand start manners are good.Will be in the mix here. R6-1 Jerry Garcia. Trotting well lately.Has been racing some of these in his last couple,but does get a nice break on them in the handicaps.Can give them something to catch here. R7-9 His Royal Harness.Far too good for them last time out after being driven quietly.Draw isn't good for this,but will get back.With luck he can power over the top of them again. R8-9 Forgotten Highway.Talented type who wilted after doing some work last time out.Will go forward at some point and he'll be hard to beat in this. R9-6 Missie Castleton.Hasn't been that bad since winning 3 back.Meets a nice sort in this,but on her best day she can go close. R10-7 Stunin Love. Race never really run to suit him last time out.Drawn out abit here but with luck he'll be there at the end.

Got bombed late last time out after doing some work,then leading.Drawn to dominate from here and he could be hard to catch. R3-4 Gran Chico. Been fizzing away nicely at the trials.Strikes a nice draw and he can make a winning debut. R4-7 Lavros Jack.Big fresh up effort last week.Mobile will suit him,can beat the fave here. R5-1 Immortal Change. Good solid effort to place last week.Gets a nice draw here and could be the boilover at nice odds. R6-9 Enchantee. Nice win here last time out. Goes back in the handicaps for this,but is an honest sort and can be in the mix again. R7-5 Ana Malak. Very nice type who hasn't been seen since January.Been going nice at the trials.Can win this fresh up. R8-4 Stop Means Stop.Solid enough effort here last time out.Doesn't meet an overally strong lot and he can win this. R9-8 Rum In The Sun. Hit the line well here 2 weeks back.Handy trotter who with luck can go close in this. R10-4 Franco Riot. Been a model of consistency for a while.Can get a well deserved win in this.

And then the same combo backed it up in the next race and won that.Would love to say that i followed them in that as well...but sadly no.

How impressive was Verry Elleegant earlier @ Ruakaka?.Didn't seem to like being cluttered up,but as soon as it got to the outside and got a flick on the bum,she was away and gone.I've been folowing her brother for the last 4 or so starts,and it looks like i'll be following this one as well.Nick Bishara has a couple of nice horses on his hands at the moment.

No idea if he's married.But i thought i heard something a while ago that he was a father?...and the mother is a jockey?....can't even remember where i read it,but it was a while ago.

Good to see Mark getting some success over in Brisbane.,Is he looking at being 'based' over there for the season?..a shame to see him not riding here but he is getting good support over there by the looks of it. And also does anyone know if Jake Bayliss is coming back this way,or has he accepted Robert Heathcote's offer?.And lastly what is up with Jeff Lloyd?...thought he was retiring at the end of last season,but he's still going around?...Legend.

Who knows maybe it was by design that he was out there?...if at all possible the track looked 'better' the wider out you were.But yes you are right he is a nice horse and it wouldn't surprise me if Gay Robinson it starting to get some phone calls about him....i think he ran in the 1000 Guineas during cup week last year?.

Meeting 2-Rangiora. R1-4 Blue Coman. Did well for 4th on debut back in May after galloping out of the gate. Has had one workout in readiness for this. Manners will be an issue but can feature in this. R2-5 Doctor Tim. Been going great guns since his maiden win. Meets an even lot here and the driver change is a bit of a worry,but horse is in form.Can be there again. R3-6 Franco Texas. Having his first run in a while,but has been going well at trials. Has good gate speed,so could zip across and lead them.Has a habit of pulling,but if he relaxes he's a good chance. R4-1 Alexy. Been going well for his age in his last 2.Should get a cozy run from the draw and could zing them late. R5-2 Franco Nubolt. Beautifully bred 5yr old who is on debut today.Has had a couple of trials for this.Stand start manners should be ok.Will improve with the run but no surprise to see him win this. R6-8 Speedy Command. Has had a slight break after racing well thru the early part of Winter.Does have a good sprint and if saved for the last run she could zip past them late. R7-6 Mordecai. Great effort fresh up for 2nd two back,then was game when 4th last week.Strikes an even bunch and with luck he can go close here. R8-8 Stun Gun.Went well over the summer.Has since won at the trials.Nice type who should have benefitted from the break.Trainer driver combo always to be respected.Can end the day the right way.

After reading that Dex was heading to the states not long after last week's meetings.I was surprised that his name was down for drives for today and tomorrow.Is he not heading away now?.
