Good on ya for sticking ya neck out and throwing out a few.At times i've been known to throw out tips as well,so i know what its like to throw some out....and hope ya don't get flogged for throwing out tips that go no good.I see you ended the day well with the last 2 wins,so hopefully you had a nice collect from them.Keep throwing those tips out.
-
Nice going Rees,i backed it as well and half way down thought i was in for a nice old collect.Still went well and his time should come over the Winter.

Good to see one of my fave jumpers of the last few years do the job today. Was a different role for him today tho, showing plenty of zest to lead them up today and also fighting hard down the straight.I wonder what the plans are for him?..he's not a fan of the deep tracks so i guess Rudy Liefting will be trying to avoid those tracks and place him right.Hopefully there is a few wins still left in the old boy yet.

I haven't had any issues when placing a bet on the app thru my phone.

When i was living in Chch as a young fella and going to the races Reon was the caller i heard and was always a fan so i'd rate him on top for mine. Not far behind would be Mark Mc,who hopefully is staying after reading all the comments here. And then in no particular order i'd have Tony Lee,Matt Cross,Keith Haub,George Simon.Heard a little bit of Allan Bright before he retired and he didn't do a bad job and i never had the pleasure hearing Peter Kelly or David Clarkson but sounds like they were damn good. I noticed someone mentioned Greg Miles in Aussie...yea he and Matt Hill would have too be my faves over there. Also Darren McAullay(i think) who calls in Perth seems quite good.

Well as of today im now no longer a part of the syndicate that races Indy.Trainer decided to get her looked at after she ran at Addington, mainly because she's had knee issues...and the bad news is that she's got a hairline fracture and has been retired, she's a pretty tough mare and its a shame that we'll never get to see her true ability, but she definitely gave me some thrills along the way.So i still stand by what i said..syndicates are great and i guess i'll be on the lookout for another one in due course. ll
-
Im a part of a syndicate and i can't speak highly enough of our trainer and our syndicate manager.I only have a small % but it still enables me to be a part of it and when my horse wins the thrill i get is exactly the same as if i had a massive share.I love the game and i love being apart of it and the horse that i have a share in managed to get 3rd in the Jewels which was a massive buzz.I know that i'll never be able to retire from the payouts i get,but the thrill i get more than makes up for that.

Yea she can get off the gate not too bad,she might even be able to beat her stablemate out.Wouldn't surprise me if she even led early then possibly handed up too something, guess that will be dictated by how she gets out of the gate and then what the Wizard decides to do.Indy and her stablemate Baquero both arrived this morning...and we running around a paddock in Leeston this arvo.Hopefully George can do it for ya Rees, yes if they go crazy up front he'd be the one that i'd want to be on to bury them late.
-
Yea i read that Rees.Think it was Anton Golino who was 50/50 on even still coming with all the delays out of Auckland.
-
Hopefully the fog isn't as bad overnight as my girl In The Shadows will be trying take 2 too fly down to Christchurch in the early hours tomorrow. But at the moment by all reports she's still at home and pretty chilled out.
-
He's been over in WA for around a decade i believe. He came back as if my memory serves me right he's taking over training Mike Berger's team from next season,so decided the time was right to come back..but i think he went pretty well over there. He drove 2 winners on his first night back last week.
-
The goal is for her to start should she stay in the 12,so they won't be withdrawing her. With her being so far down the list i didn't even think she'd get in,so didn't even apply to have time off.I'll be trying now...but with the boss being away at around the same time, and me stepping into the chair..my chance may not be good, see what happens tho.
-
Yea he is beautiful to watch. When Kirstin pulled the plugs yesterday i swear i saw the speed of his legs increase as soon as they got pulled. For some reason i made a note to myself to watch his legs when that happened, and boy i wasn't disappointed, the spell will make him even further. And Rees on another note with my girl winning last week and getting 2nd on Friday she is now 10th for the jewels, whereas a few weeks back she was well down on the list..amazing how fast things can change.
-
Pretty sure he will be,as i think he's heading to the paddock now. Then will be targetting a race over Cup Week.
-
Yip i think so.Her mum won 7 and she's already won 4 in less than 20 starts.
-
Thanks mate...been a long time since i was a winning owner, but was good to see her get the job done tonight.Definitely more wins in store for her.
-
Yea FU...that was my girl winning the first.Given the gun run by the postie, she was always going to be hard to beat from there.
-
..Jason Waddell?...i know he was suspended for a bit but that ended over a week ago.Thought he may of been back in the saddle, but maybe is enjoying his break a bit too much too come back just yet?.
-
I'm not one to knock drivers and i definitely love the horse. But that wasn't the greatest drive,i know they are heading up North with him but i don't know how he get ready for a trip away with a run like that.It looked like a glorified trial the whole way..until he went for a gallop.I was surprised that he didn't zip around them with say a lap to go,especially with the stablemate in the lead, would of deadset got given the lead without a fight. Then i thought when Destiny Jones went around them at the 1000m he'd get on his back, but nope stayed back.Gotta feel for the punter that unloaded on him,was pretty much no chance from barrier rise.

May as well throw mine up as well. R1-7 Flying MonkeyR2-6 MarcoolaR3-5 GlenthorneR4-3 HeisenbergR5-2 The GovernorR6-5 With The BandR7-6 Chase AucklandR8-13 RenezmaeR9-10 My Wee ManR10-10 Johnny White

Fair to say that Nathan Purdon's go in life will be training, which i think he's stated before.A shame that Cran's team isn't what it once was...but i guess most trainers go thru that...tho losing Dexter hasn't helped.

R1-11 Appearance.Been doing a few things wrong in his races lately.Been placed here before and with complete manners he can win,in what isn't a strong form race.R2-7 Lottie Moon. Was good when on debut when running 2nd from the 2nd line.Drawn ok here and can go close to winning this.R3-3 Muchacha Bonita.Didn't get a lot of luck last week when 6th.He did stay down and trot the whole way which is a plus,so if that happens again he can feature.R4-13 Just Michael.Led up last time out and was run down late. Can step and run again and can give the locals something to cheer about.R5-4 The Kaik.Loves the grass and he went well last time out for 4th.If he gets the run to suit he can slingshot them late.R6-1 Bush Man. Nice 2nd last week on the grass.Drawn well here and this field doesn't look that strong. Can win this.R7-2 BK Dawn. Another solid placed effort last time out.Manners are generally good so can feature again here.R8-13 Rockahula Joe. Ran 2nd on the grass in January, then was put out for a spell.Has had a run at the trials last week,Can be thereabouts.R9-1 Tiebreaker. The race didn't really go his way last week, but he still hit the line well.Drawn 1 here which can be tricky, manners seem ok so looks a good chance here.R10-11 Forgotten Highway.Good fresh up run last week.Should be very hard to beat here.R11-1 Flying Monkey. Distance too short for him last week but hit the line really well. Can step and run here and give the backmarkers something to catch.R12-11 Mad Lu Li. Race never went her way last week. She loves the grass and if she gets the right run here then she's a danger.Last grass track meeting of the season,so lets hope one or two of these can salute the judge.

Yea was good to see Arna get a PB of 4 wins on Thursday. Yip she is a nice type, she's had some issues with her knee's but they seem fine at the moment. Was good to see her run on into 3rd the other night. She'll definitely add to her win record that's for sure.
