Hopefully i don't jinx them,but here's a couple. R4-2 Mighty Reactor. Race not run to suit last time out,tho got home ok. Does come into the draw for this which is a big help,and on his good runs off the unruly lately,he does look tough to beat. Currently at 3.5 on the book,which i thought was a little 'short',but still worth a crack. R6-1 Forgone Conclusion. Been going solid races for a while,and just got nabbed last time out. Drawn the pole for this,which i think will be a big help.Comes against a couple of nice sorts,but i think his book price of 2.9 is way to short. R8-3 Cardinal Sin. Dead unlucky when pushing them over the line last week. First stand start here,but if he handles that then i think he wins. Currently at 2.1 on the book. R11-1 Look Sharp. Not happy when sitting parked last time out. Drawn to get the run here and can go close.Currently at 5.5.

Yip not often i find myself agreeing with you,but i will on this instance. She is riding well,and i backed Junior and i thought i was gone at the 200m,but she kept on riding him out and they got the money.

This is one interesting thread. Not really sure if there is any meaning to it all? it all seems to go off on different tangents, Tho for some reason i am drawn too it,not sure what that says about me.

A shame that he's not the horse he was when his career started. I backed him at every start early on and i think he won 2 races quite quickly,then i think he had a mishap. Definitely hasn't come back like the horse he was,and i'm not sure if he ever will. Only good thing is that i haven't backed him since he resumed.

His weight won't be helped when they go back to normal in the new season. Is a class act so hopefully he gets back into it in the new season.

Anyone know what Jason is up too?.I know he was down to ride a few weeks back?,but got off them on some kind of 'exemption'. I know he's looking at heading to Aussie,but of course that probably won't be happening anytime soon,so hopefully nothing untoward has happened,love throwing my hard earned on him.

I may of missed something,but has Matt 'appealed' the decision or does the disqualification not take immediate effect?. Only commenting as i notice him driving today.

Can't believe that Marlborough have lost their dates for next season,yet Nelson get to keep theirs.Would love to know the reason for Nelson being kept and Marlborough losing their dates,not that it will change anything,but sucks arse.

Yip would of been one hell of a story if Kozzi had managed to get the premiership,tho he wasn't helping himself much before the lockdown happenend,was getting suspended and spending lengthy amounts of time on the sidelines.I guess July will be helter skelter,but will definitely be harder for him than his North Island counterparts.

Probably not silly to throw Jason Waddell's name out there as well.Will definitely be a sort after spot once it becomes available.

Not sure if it's just me or not.But whenever i've watched a race from Oz,have always noticed that when they go to hit the horse with the whip,they never seem to take their hands off the reins to give the horse a hit.Compared to here where you clearly see their whip hand is off the reins,over their it seems much different.

Not much has changed for me.I'm lucky that with me working at the hospital here in Blenheim,that it gives me some 'normality',but then once home it's pretty much just staying home,unless it's a supermarket trip or my partner and i walk the dog.Am missing the local horse racing,but i guess the Aussie racing is giving me something to look at lol.Stay safe all.

She's a total honey,and she was wayyy too gooood yesterday and she deserved that win.See they are talking Caulfield and Melbourne Cups with her.I'll be all over her like a rash in those races.

Thought he was home today.Had the nice run but just couldn't get past the winner.Will continue to get my money,tho i am starting to think he may be one of those horses that is destined to be a bridesmaid.

Am pretty keen on Bucksin in his race.Been on him at his last half a dozen starts,he was a victim of a messy race last week,which left him parked,which is definitely not his go.As we have seen in his previous runs he's much better with a sit and one shot at them.Drawn the pole today and hopefully he can get a nice trail or possie up in the running line,and if he's not too far away he can get a well deserved win today.

A shame that she has joined the Coles.Always rated her ability as a trainer,but i guess she's got her reasons for doing what she's currently doing.

Just wondering if Hayley has given the game away.I don't follow the pups as much as i used too,but i pretty much used to back all of her dogs,but lately i haven't seen her name around at all.

Am pretty sure that he's been with Ken Ford for a while and they haven't been able to get a win with him,so it may be the same on Friday.

Yip Ants is all class....been my fave driver for years and years.A shame that things dried up for him here,which is what lead him to Aussie.And has definitely been on fire training wise as well,long may it continue.

There was strong talk a couple of years ago,that they wanted to merge the 2 colleges here into 1 school.And for a while Waterlea Racecourse was mooted as the likely venue,which wasn't exactly going well with some people around here.Anyway the powers that be at the track said the place isn't for sale,so talks of a school being built on the racetrack grounds kind of died away.While those talks were happening,i don't seem to recall any talks of where any future race meetings would be held here.Hopefully they won't restart talks of putting a school on the grounds,as it would be a shame to lose the racetrack,even tho they obviously don't want to race in June this year.

Yea it does seem weird alright.You'd think with all this talk a year or two back that they wanted to use the racecourse to relocate the 2 colleges,that they would want to race their as much as they can.
