  5. Mills is a waste of space, totally. Auckland will be locked down for two weeks.
  6. Tab at the harewood tavern was operating through covid. Very good service. I went at least three times. Owned by Shelton Martha's sister I'm told. Same as the bush inn one?
  7. I The Hornby club is the best place to go, no trouble getting cash out. Tab at the avohead tavern is the highest turnover in the South Island so I'm told. And the friendliest. Last time I was at cashmere club the tab was operating. Pre covid! Havnt been to the yaldy in a while, but it was good last time there.
  8. Are you thick, read my reply. Btw , I don't condone violence, any person with an iq above 100 would know that.
  9. I have to defend myself, my cousin was married to Bernie pope. Another who belted women. He taught me to box btw. I kinda know where you stand ! happy?
  10. Finally, common sense.
  11. I have never raised a hand to any woman. That's how I was bought up. The guy is a bully with anger problems, if you guys feel for him, then you aren't much better. I know if you know someone you will stick up for them, but it makes you look like that as well. Needs to be out of the industry for good. IMHO.
  12. Has he stopped training and handed the reins to Chrissie? Surely he's too young??
  13. You know drugs stay in your body ? Right. Hooter for up to a month. You sound like an angel?
  14. Well they used to have learner workouts then trials. As far as i know they still do. That's where they learn. I guess cup,day would be different??
  15. Cheated himself, and endangered fellow drivers. And yes I've had plenty of tickets for speeding (just over) I'm no angel but I'm not a cheat or drug user.
  16. A good trainer teaches his horse to step away. Lots of practice and do it or stick to mobiles. trainer/owners choice?
  17. Should have said I'm in canty. Thanks for the pms folks.
  18. If it was my choice he'd be gone for life. Maybe it's because I abhor cheats.? Maybe I was raised not to cheat or do drugs. You an apologist for his behaviour? If so, we have nothing to say anymore.
  19. I watched that race as well as I backed a horse. I knew the fave would not get away. Fwiw my horse was fourth. Bugger!
  20. What's the going rate, I havnt had a horse for years but want to get back into it. I know they vary due to how good they are. I'm looking for an honest trainer? thanks
  21. Agree, hope he's learnt. It's all about choices in life, I was offered ecstasy many years ago, a slippery road I never wanted to take. Young people bitch about life, hell 60 years ago they could have been fighting for their country? Although the young ones today have it to easy. The thing is if you know these guys you are biased. They might be "nice" guys with you. But to some they are just young thugs. Entitled comes to mind. Trainers that trained for me were unblemished in the game and they normally drove as well. There's another few who are banned from rugby and abused fellow drivers, all young. There's a problem there. And experienced trainer drivers supplying drugs is not on. My 2c
  22. How's the synthetic track up north coming along?
  23. Do some of you guys want drugs in the industry? Dangerous enough game without drugs. 10 years I would be OK with.
  24. Had a few good nights at the railway, burnt toast was a hoot. When keasty had it.
  25. And a finance minister who's dad did 2 years for fraud, go figure!
