I do find the guy at the tab reading out all the bets before a race pointless,what interest is it to me if some guys put 500 on a race,as much interest as some guy putting 2 bucks ,maybe the odd big bet like a multi that needs 1 more win or a big bet on a major sports event but not just all these pre race wagers.

Well no betting site will survive if everybody wins,as for your statement all they want are people with gambling problems and losers,probably,the wall to wall racing and driving turnover obsession is how these places stay afloat.

Maybe nove to Washdyke,hang on though its closing ain't it?

Nathan Guy was minister of racing for national.he thought racing had a all weather track,at Addington,no bullshit.

I think in reality no one has ever got tipping horses correct.

Maybe those races in oz you talk about are a community event where everyone goes,a lot of our once a year events at courses are closing down,is that good,ask yaself.

I see they also have same game multi for soccer games,despite the fact some racing folk may not be keen on sports betting as opposed to racing the more people who are using the tab is still better in the overall scheme of things

Smartphones have there uses but they are limited it seems in some fields as well,my internet is coming through a router how the site would work of a cell phone tower type thing ,well dont know about that.

I've just switched on a I pad that's been floating around here for a while,its actually very good at screening races sometimes it's not always the fault of others but more the internet connection or the device we are using,so remember how hard it must be for the people at the help line,its not always their fault.

I notice that there is a lot more watch and bet sport on,I'm using smartphone at present and it's a bit hit or miss,maybe it's better on proper computer,one thing I hate with smartphone is when you play video it shuts off if you go to another page,its not just the tab site though,does it on you tube too,smartphones ain't 100 percent the way to go.

Racing today is a far cry from the days when Forbury use to have open class races in October that sometimes had a full field ,no wonder why in recent times the club has declined,all you get now is a handful in the top races leading up to the cup,its just not the same nowadays.

True but will or would he match th 8 or 9 all stars runners?

It's not only the races,mitre 10 cup crowds are generally piss poor except in rural areas who are winning(Tasman) and cricket,only time crowds turnup is when Black Caps are playing limited over,you over do a product,sometimes more ain't always best. I hear on radio today some people are disappointed there is no final in super comp but in reality why bother,Crusaders if they win tommorow win comp,no need for final because the result is just the same,some just want to bleed just a bit more out of the public.

People are still interested but tv has in many ways stuffed people going on course and saturation numbers of races we have access too.....the days are over where a Soutland trainer who has the horse of a lifetime that's good enough to race and in some cases win the cup seem dead,the domination of one stable is not entirely good for harness racing,changing times indeed.

Your last comment,fair enough,everybody can stuff up.very few of us have not made mistakes,maybe not as bad as these but we all grow and sometimes come out the other side better for it.

If there is one thing I'd like is the turnover figures on website and results page,its always interesting to see facts on what interest is on each race code etc......does anybody know if the betting figures are commingled with a aussie site or all betting is done in nz tab.

Am I correct that if you place a bet on the cup now and horse dont race monies down drain(again).

They do have betting without options in lots of cases

One other is that despite the fact that my bonus bets I've received have actually won the bets after that they go awol as usual,be a bit unfair to blame them for that😂

One thing I dislike it seems to take a long time for results to screen and the sports odds are still not shifting.

Since racing has returned what are your thoughts on their performance as in website,tv coverage happy or not,what improvements do u think would be better. One thing we must say is that video coverage is free through a couple of websites,so are things improving? Your thoughts.

There has been some ideas that are a bit mind boggling.the Southland situation regarding Wyndham and Gore is one that is a odd one,ain't heard nought regarding this does anyone know if anything's changed,no news. here may not be a good thing.

It's just that one needs to be careful what one writes here sometimes .we often forget our comments here go world wide,for what it's worth I think Greg O Connor does good for harness racing,some I think are doing it more harm than good.
