When I use to bet on the TAB sometimes I hoped that they would have restricted me,not from max stake but restricting me from losing any more lol,I say when I use to bet,ain't bothered for a couple of months but I see I have a 20 buck bonus so I will sort something out ,they must still love me even though I hate a lot of what they are doing,

It seems that the issues over clubs ,dates,tracks etc and ideas for change ain't unique to harness racing,,,,,,,,,,,,,I see the rugby is heading same way nz want 8 team comp,5 nz teams,2 ozzie 1 from Pacific,ozzie probably want 4 or 5 teams seems noone is ever gunna be on same page,it is what is. In all reality I'm getting sick of the whole lot of it,in reality we will still be having these debates in 10 years time more than likely ,in reality the more things change the more they stay the same.

A quick glance at the results from today in invers showed I think at least 3 winners from eastern southland yet no racing planned there again,mind boggling,in some ways the Forbury one is too what will change next year?same dates in many ways will more than likely produce the same result,same 4 manawatu,at present the whole setup is totally hopeless,does Forbury have a future long term? what did they mean encouraging southern harness racing there.

With winter cup meeting no longer be interesting to see how many horses outside Canterbury turn up.once the main nz carnival at end of winter. It might just become a run of the mill Canterbury meeting .

Trackside radio was generally pretty good as a rule.

I notice they have a new station where radio sport was,its basically shit.if trackside was reinstated why not sport commentary as well then you can put some of the races on website but have the main stuff on radio remember the tab are into sports betting too there is very little live sport on radio these days why not some forward thinking?

In the new season addington sunday replaces Southland sunday the whole calander is up the wop but gee who would want the job trying to sort it out based on events of the last month or two?

I just read an article about East Coast racing,lots of history,why are some officials so keen to wipe some clubs off the face of the earth?Each area has different situations,

I said that there was little consistency in the manawatu dates 2 day meetings in Nov and dec and nothing more till easter,that's where the mini meetings could be effective I ain't looked to see when they are scheduled,this smartphone squinting is doing my head in lol

Even some of the dates for Manawatu are the same old tuesday thursday ,what's wrong with Wednesday friday ,forbury could have thursday or friday and sunday once a month or something similar there is no consistency in the setup for palmy 2 2 day meets before xmas and nothing again till easter.im done here 4 now ,smartphones starting to piss me off too hard to focus all the time.

The present government takes some beating for running off in different directions but this lot take the cake.

When you look at the fields and results from Southland a lot of horses and a lot of winners from Gore area.

It seems that Wyndham and Gore are effectively wiped yet Riverton which was a 1 day club now have 3 or 4 meetings,what's going on here,some serious issues in the grey department.

I'm waiting for the days they schedule twilight meetings in the dead of winter.

Forbury have lights but have got the odd day meeting as well,seems they got a lot of those winter meetings,that will get the crowds flocking out to the course lol

Southland seems to be the most progressive place in the country so why such backward ideas coming from head office?.
