They don’t tend to be too worried that punters in NZ are pissed off with them, they live in dreamland and as long as their exorbitant salaries come thru, they don’t care about the Punters. The Elite punters you say are mostly from overseas? They must surely be heavily restricted or if they are losing punters why are they bothering to bet in little of NZ? Yes it was very Sporting that Sportsbet refunded the $450k as a token of good will, and they will get it back from those punters anyway. $450k doesn’t seem very much for 11000 punters who backed NZ to win as it is only $40 per punter? There must’ve some big bets but most of them had to have been pretty small!

Ridiculous that Kiwis can not have a bet on their TAB account just because you are on holiday! Great that Sportsbet is going to pay out to punters on NZ winning the cricket World Cup, however it does seem rather weird that the average bet in NZ to win is only $40???

The NZ TAB has progressively got worse as a gambling agency! They are currently being saved by sports betting as horse punters are getting screwed big time. They want turnover to increase on racing however they don’t want to payout to anyone that looks remotely like they know what they are doing. The watchdog is going to be increased even more by this punters card and has very little to do with money laundering! Racing is stuffed in NZ in many ways now and the NZ TAB is one of the major reasons it isn’t going to get any better, unless they change Their useless policies!

Then why can’t any batsman stick their bat out deliberately when they are running? Anyway the umpires stuffed up, even with the dumb rule it appears it should’ve only been 5 rather than the six. How can it be 6 overthrows when it has hit a batsman, they had completed one run then interfered with the ball?

Of course Happy. There were several wrong decisions by the umpires, including the overthrows from Guptill, should’ve been a dead ball!!!! NZ wins!

Blackcaps were robbed. Bad umpiring and stupid rule. Such a shame as they fought to the end and deserved to win. Taylor wasn’t out and Roy was gone but biased umpire!

I am at a total loss to be able to explain how Michael House has been able to win races all around the country this season. To be fair Michael was no better than an average trainer until he started taking many horses to Palmy! Yes I can understand him Winning at Palmy, but he wins at Auckland, Addington and other South Island locations! Something has definitely changed without doubt with his training. Is he involved with this Blood spinning thing, that doesn’t improve horses performance????????

I have been hibernating for the last nine months. I see he has had 24 starters over the season so far, for 4 wins. I haven’t been following the N.I. Harness recently and I knew he had gone to Oz. Obviously didn’t work out for him Jonny I appreciate the acknowledgement as well, that I knowitall!!

I note Sean McCaffrey has driven at Alexandra Park the last couple of weeks! Sean went to Oz to run a big farming operation I think last year. Dies anyone know if he is back for good, and is he still going to be training again?

There was this almighty story about properties being raided and harness enthusiasts race fixing, drugs etc and was pretty open and shut cases with all the evidence. As far as I am aware there hasn’t been a single case heard in court, so when is this damning evidence going to be shown?

Sounds like the prosecution are having problems as well? Why on earth is it taking so damn long to hear the evidence in this 500 page book? Win Win for the lawyers
