With respect, HRNZ arent going to do anything about harness racing in Tasmania. Not sure how the state of racing in Tasmania has been allowed to get to the state it is currently is? From the photos of the training establishment of Ben Yole, it shouldve been stopped before now, as those dust paddocks are diabolical. Without Yole training horses in Tasmania, it is hard to see how they can run financially viable meetings?

Not really Ranga at this stage! I do not know what the events were that caused the defendant to attack the plaintiff! I am sure there have been times in your life when you felt like punching someone, even though you may not have carried it out,
-
Some will know what actually happened on the Coast, but at this stage some are commenting and casting the stone already! I do not condone violence, however I reiterate we should not be having a Kangaroo Court on BOAY, without knowing the circumstances! Yes there are far better ways of handling things, but from the grapevine, it appears that it could well have been a domestic based issue! These can become extremely problematical and people handle these things differently! As Chief says if the defendant was an All Black he would probably not get attacked the same way? Hopefully this matter can be resolved and the problem’s and issues of the defendant improve!

Launceston race 7 no.1 Taxi Meter, think it will win!
-
To be fair, I reckon we have a lot more fun and decent debate on BOAY than they do on that other boring site!!!!!!!

Michael Brodie?

And where are you going to get $500 from? Pokies?

We all know that certain trainers will improve any horse when they go into bigger stables they can become more competitive and they do not go without. Woodlea Jewel improved substantially from its trial at Rangiora to when it first raced at Nelson for Dalgety’s. Whether it needed the trial to top it off maybe, and it didnt beat a lot. Tom Twidle has had some good horses so I do not believe he is a mug trainer at all, just something has improved Woodlea Jewel, and it seems to be getting better. We need people to express opinions, whether we agree with them or not. Not enough people express their thoughts and this was shown by so many of the citizens of NZ are easily led and followed the orders of Ardern and Bloomfield etc. even though they were full of BS!!!
-
JJ! Way off course with a prediction? Yes as Walt has just stated no one couldve predicted the improvement in Woodlea Jewel since it left Tom Twidle’s stable, or you could? Why are you not on here bagging Tom Twidle for not getting the results that the Dalgety’s are? I stated that the odds for Woodlea Jewel on what it had shown previously and at the last trial before it raced were well unders, and I stand by that statement!!!!!! Do you really think Brodie actually gives a rats from you trying to put him down? Seriously stay on the Darkside if you only want to come over and confirm to us that you are far better sticking to there, and your loving boyfriends and lovefest!

I see the 2 races solely for the 3 year olds were scrapped!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Think you be pretty safe there!!!!
-
Personally pleased that they are racing back at Addington again after the break! However, the 2 separate races for the 3 year old colts and fillies both only have for nominations for Friday night? The stakes are both $20k so worth winning. The 8 no s basically are coming out of the 4 top South Island stables, Kentuckiana, Diamond, Stonewall and AllStars! Unfortunately this is the future with the smaller guy not bring able to compete against the big boys! Sign of the times, which is not that flash for many!
-
Just shows doesn’t it Spatchcock? How the bigger stables can improve a horse and not show them up fully at trials there are heaps of horses that could be so much better if they were in better stables and had decent drivers aboard!

Where is she currently?

Maybe cos the fields are so small in Auckland he needs to add the Bs names to fill in the space? Not sure the names are that accurate either at the moment?
-
I back what I think is worth the effort Forbury, whether it has a male or female driver, I dont consider myself as Sexist! Think if you actually looked deeply at the performances of the female drivers you might change your mind? You would think that the females would struggle to handle the driving of harness horses due to in many cases their physical strength, however that doesnt seem to be the case! What I do know is that we need to keep attracting them into harness racing as I believe they are an asset that the industry can not afford to lose, cos without them things would be far worse off! Have a good punting weekend Forbury!

Why does he call Auckland “”ribbon of Light”?
-
earlier restrictions!

Auckland Friday night is going head to head with Addington that is back! Stakes for the 10 races at Auckland is $159k but there is an average of only 7 horses across the 10 races at Auckland! This is going to be just another meeting that is going to be another meeting that is going to lose money and surely this needs to stop? To make it even worse they have persisted with a night of many 1609metre races, which is a borefest and wont entice wagering!

Has the new CEO of Albion Park left HRNZ a bit short of cash?
Brodie replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Trotting Chat
Michael, you are being rather childish, take a deep breath and just relax! You called me an idiot and now a Weasel? It is very hurtful, might cause me to have MH issues if you continue to hurl abuse at “The Brodster”, I know you have no problem with honesty, you can be known as Honest Michael? To be fair, I got no idea what you are in about with Chief posting as Noodlum? Is there a policy on BOAY that we can have only one non-de-plume? Can you swear that you have always used Michael? -
Without the girl junior drivers there would be a major shortage and industry would be in a worse state! Personally believe that our current crop of female drivers has never been so strong and are doing a great job.

Brodie replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Trotting Chat
Lol Brodie is always fair to his mind! Chief runs this site and allows everyone to participate with their thoughts! My point would be that he should not be questioning the honesty and integrity of the founder of BOAY! Just like I wouldnt like anyone questioning honest Brodie’s integrity! -
Dont often applaud the TAB often, but I congratulate them immensely for now bringing out the harness fixed odds out so much earlier than they always used to! It is long overdue but very well done to them! Bringing them out earlier will ensure bigger turnover as it gives punter longer to offload! next thing is hopefully they will increase the restricted punters limits?

To be fair Michael, dont really think you should be commenting about Honesty? Turn over a new leaf for 2024 and behave yourself! -

An intelligent idiot though Michael!
