Most of this Covid19 is BS and what I have realised over the last couple of years is just how easily people are able to be led!!! If people did their research they would find that Covid19 Delta, Omicron etc. is no more deadly than the common flu, but then most wont believe me, because they have been conned. They dont want to believe that it is possible that they have neen conned and if they have been jabbed then they may well have been harmed! As for the masks, they are more detrimental to your health than giving you benefits! Fauci and the WHO head as well as Bloomfield have all stated previously that they give very little protection if any! Fauci also stated that people were not dying of the Spanish Flu, but in fact died from Bacterial Pneumonia!!! What caused the Bacterial Pneumonia then? According to Fauci it was caused by MASK WEARING!!!! So many total DICKHEADS walking and driving around wearing masks for no benefit! Why are there are so many people testing positive if the PFIZER crap jabs and mask wearing worked??? Why? Because the Pfizer jabs weaken your immune system and the masks help make you crook by cultivating your bugs!!!! Anyway, you are entitled to believe what you but why would anyone take advice from ARDERN or BLOOMFIELD? Do your research and not listen to these useless Public Servants!

Walt, yes it is very concerning for most people! Many people will not now have enough to use their KiwiSaver as a deposit especially in the overpriced markets! The U.S. have just increased their interest rates that affects NZ majorly. The problem is that the leaders of the worlds countries are being led by the most incompetent types we have ever had. The U.S was going well under Trump and yet they allowed the election fraud to occur and a stupid geriatric who should be in a retirement home to be president ffs! Here in NEW ZEALAND enough stupid people reelected the most incompetent lot back into power. Absolutely has backfired again and will not be getting any better while they are making their stupid policies. Many people will not be able to afford to keep their homes with interest rates rising and business will go to the wall due to discretionary spending dropping. We havent seen anything as yet as people currently renting will not be able to afford the increased rents that are going to be happening this year. They are going to be large as landlords are not going to wear the massive increases they are going to incur. Forget the COVID BS, this is more of a worry than that!

I note that he is the Chief Whip currently, whatever that is! Does that mean that he has ability to sort out the diabolical harness racing whip rule?

Hopefully it isnt wet at Addington tomorrow. Some good races to invest on! Be fair if the NZ TAB would bring in a minimum net collect of $2k on all wagers! They really do need to be encouraging punters to offload as turnover will drop otherwise!

There are very few punters oncourse nowadays compared to what there were a decade or so ago! Awhile ago it was muted that the courses were only going to have self service machines at most of the meetings, therefore doing away with the ticket sellers! Seriously, as Walt has pointed out, it is very hard to understand the thinking of a lot of the decisions being made! Yes times have indeed changed but certainly not for the better! Harness racing to enthusiasts is a great sport however there needs to be better decision making to attract new people to it, or it will be killed off in the next decade or so!

The Justice system in NZ is broken. The BS it takes to get a murderer, rapist etc. to trial and convicted is years. The court is clogged up with with the same dickheads continually offending and they are as guilty as sin and the Judges remand them for future hearings just like the BS that has happened in this INCA crap!! The Police are no longer respected in NZ for their dastardly actions of planting evidence etc. Their behaviour in Wellington earlier in the year of beating up law abiding protestors was abhorrent and a very black day in NZ history. Racing integrity Unit have acted very poorly and need to remove the INTEGRITY from their name! This has affected too many innocent people involved in harness racing!

If the stake money for Blenheim races in 1992 was only $4000 it was because You were involved with the Club! Stakes for supporting racing at Addington etc, was a helluva lot more than that. Convenient you mentioned 1992 when stakes dropped!!!!!!

Davis, yes I know the season date and horse birthday has changed. My point was that we used to have 2 year old races starting in November and yet here we have June and we onLy have 5 fillies starting in a $30k race! Certainly pointless betting into 5 horse races but there have been some races that can be profitable at this time, if you can get enough on! Yes the hopeless Labour Party has got to me, just unbelievable how citizens can think that they are doing a good job. Just an absolute mess they have made of everything and we still have another year or more to go! They are all diabolical but what would you expect differently when there is not one that has had any success in life

The blame for most of the things going on at the moment stems from the crap that is coming from our supposed government!!! The cost of living, the shortage of labour, the ram raids, the shootings, the shortage of hospital beds, the higher than should be interest rates, the cost of housing, the shortage accommodation for thousands, the immigration issues, this Three Waters BS! The most incompetent bunch the country has ever had in Wellington!

Great to be optimistic Gamma, and certainly would love harness racing to thrive both in NEW ZEALAND and Australia! It is just a sad indictment when there are 7 or less horses racing in the 3 biggest stakes races at Ashburton Queens Birthday! Harness is at a crossroads currently. Yes syndicates are great to get people involved and there are several people in NZ doing a fantastic job. Believe we are not attracting enough owners or new punters into the sport going forward.

Gamma, the Sapling Stakes is a farce nowadays, it used to be a respected race, but no longer! $50k stake and we now have a field whittled down to 7 which is pathetic!!!!! 4 of the 7 starters are AllStars and they will probably run 1,2,3,4 unfortunately! This is serious for harness racing in NZ and hard to see how it is going to improve as owners and trainers get the stitch from shelling out big dollars to get buggerall back! With the cost of living currently due to our incompetent bunch in Wellington it is hard to see any new owners being enticed into ownership of harness horses in the future! The support races on Sunday racing for amounts of $9k to my mind is hardly inspiring for owners when they were racing for more than this several decades ago!!
