  4. Osborne bulls rider picked the best part of the track, huge run..amazing redzel paying $7.8.....14mill silly money for a sprint I can't quite grasp why so much money pumped into it, much better races with less stake money all over the world and in Australia...to be honest I didn't tune in... what am I missing?

  6. Your right, New York Nice but bugger driving round there. I went with the wife 10 years ago for 5 nights, but between her and logistics I never got to the trots ...Be interesting to know what sort of crowds they get at the night trots there, considering the extremely large population.
  7. $500 entry fee happy, good to be involved with a small syndicate a few people to blame if you go down the gurgler!!
  8. I see the grand master seems to be seriously kissing butts now and throwing money at everything to keep people, you could get a sponsorship deal to go back for a cameo Brodie, they need something to pep snore café up?

  10. Yes so much for them all saying they wanted to move on! Go kakama
  11. Take your raincoat and thermals!
  12. 2nd in last year's Epsom Derby Wally, not sure if it's been sold to Aussie interests or Aiden O'Brien still trains, interesting horse though.
  13. I do remember Paul Davies was a friend of my dad's, in the early 80,'s he gave my dad a tip for I'm pretty sure an elder debutante Trotter 10+ at either Methven or Banks pen and it paid something like $32+ I told my mates at school and I had a heap of $1ew bets to put on...I was the cool guy at school for ...at least half a week!!
  14. Will be interesting to see if tiger Tara comes over.. that lets spendanighttogether and forgotten highway have both impressed me, both have looked way out of their class on paper but have just kept on improving, I can see something like that winning a good race this year. Lay of the nz cup for me would be dream about me. But one of the afore mentioned for Kaikoura.....A.gs seems very exposed now happy, always seems to find one better to beat him.
  15. Just more Lee waffle, been sitting in iraklis's backyard eating Bright coloured mushrooms again.
  16. Placed 3rd to moon shadow at the trials, certainly has a little bit of ability and would be nice to see her go on with it, worth a bet if Sam ottley drives her again especially on the grass.
  17. Thanks Einstein ..I mean lee.
  18. Trident and tuapeka Knight always come to mind with john hay, I think he's driven over a 1000 winners...used to get alot of talent coming out of Southland. He must be in his 60's now
  19. Horse galloped at the start, happens to the best driver's as well, so I can forgive that one:-)
  20. Tim Williams seems to be a different driver as well at the moment, he was the kiss of death on anything decent he drove before, but seems to have had a course of blood syrum or something! Never seen him drive so well.
  21. Hayden's meddle went a good race again in that race..great bread and butter horse
  22. I believe the article said during a float trip to the jewels....it must have been close by the animals for people to be worried about it.
  23. Cheers rich, weldone you certainly spotted lotta muscle very nice Trotter.
