  1. Also booby Beck, what a post, Ivan the great, ....long owner on here now last few months as well, gives/sticks to his opinion on the other site and they group attack him. I'm sure they will slowly all trickle over here
  2. Still a few good guys over there that aren't on the band waggon and not afraid to have their own opinion, even though they cop stick from the "cheerleaders"
  3. His "mate" must have e-mailed him again as he doesn't read this site!! Nice to have a pretend wingman!
  4. Looking Forward to the dominion the most, speeding spur no good thing either, nice to see a big race where you don't know the result before the race has run!
  5. And every other driver in the country would do the same, the whip rule is very flimsy, they either need to refine it and make the punishment tougher i.e bigger fine or relegation for money earning placings, or scrap it all together, because while it is like it is, of course driver's will try to get the most out of their horses on big days.
  6. Surely a picture looking for a caption if ever I've seen one!
  7. Into the spiritual side of things now happy? I had an experience the other night, the Ghost of Gloria Gaynor was in my bedroom.........at first I was afraid I was petrified....
  8. Dream about me was always the fall guy for the race, Lay of the year it was the equivalent of one of Godolphins pace makers in the thoroughbred World, just through having third string stable driver on you knew it was there for the cart up. However was very brave and went a cracker!
  9. Its not a case of the other trainers getting better, its having the big money owners to buy the very best Bloodstock, those afore mentioned races were so bloody predictable, I made a very good profit today,. But as a spectacle it the only thing that made the cup exciting was tiger Tara. pats delight in the junior FFA best horse in the race but you can't compete when one stable has so many in each race protecting and conserving the stables number 1horses energy.
  10. Have to agree happy, the best horse in the race came second, what a race it would have been if Chicago Bull was in there as well.
  11. This is a bit controversial, but I would love to see the passing Lane gone, most races you see now are leader trail dominated, I would love to see the team driving taken out of the equation to an extent ...i.e giving the stable no 1 a soft trail knowing full well if your stablemate cops some heat during the race you'll get the passing Lane in the straight and all over...it would make trainers/drivers think more about their options and the races would be far more exciting. Alot of big races now are so predictable in the pacing side of things anyway.
  12. If you back anything other than the fixer from the all-stars barn you were Dreaming,, absolutely set up for that, what a run tiger Tara, different draw , different result.
  13. I guess what he means is the great even fields we used to know have gone in most of the big races when they dominate by having 3 or 4 in the big ones and drive accordingly, Rasmussen always on the one they want to win in the big ones and gets accommodated by the others. I always had a hero horse growing up delightful lady, hands down, armalight, Bonnie's chance, lord module ..drew me in to harness racing... champions now are just sold on to early, such as Lazarus..its all very sterile now and no wonder the sport doesn't attract youngsters and big crowds apart from cup week and jewels.
  14. What are the princess lungs like?
  15. I guess if he led he would have looked for a trail and once the baton has changed hands a few times your 4 back on the inside.
  16. Junior FFA ran to script, just like a cycling team trial, pats delight great run, not much you can do up against team driving like that, that was so set up for All you need is faith ....and I backed it?
  17. I see they have cluttered up the tab website with 2 u.s.a trot meetings with sweet f/a in the pools, ridiculous to say the least,
  18. Pathetic, why don't they just run te aroha on 2 and keep the live stream of cup day on one..wankers
  19. They only have one thing in common Brodie, both need a straight jacket.
  20. Geez things got nasty back then, I Wonder where poor old valmagne ended up, hopefully in a nice paddock being well looked after now.
  21. You mean your 2 cats and Guinea pig?
  22. Johnryan one of his user names on r.c, things are quite tame now compared to back then
  23. You see that in the breeder's cup in the u.s, the big asian and Arab races, choc full of European horses, all the prize money to big to resist, you can't blame them for that.
