I like monty Rees, he tries his heart out every time, Dark horse still untapped potential and will only get better as he gets older! Re Hayden's meddle, he has really improved, he seemed to always find one better earlier on in his career, you would love to have a bread and butter horse like that in your stable...He would be a star around the Victorian country cups circuit ..Hope he stays here though!!

The open class racing I must say does nothing for me now...we need another Bonnie's chance, delightful lady, armalight, hands down type hero...or all 4 to reignite the harness scene! I see the horse Derby in that field, I really thought at one stage he was going to be the next big thing, when he won 7 or 8 in a row coming through the grades, then he hit the open class horses and his form dropped right away. Our intermediate grades were so strong back then, you had to be pretty good to become cup class....

Was it legal to inject serum before the trial? Was the huge fine just for a small misdemeanor? Were you on the horse truck ?

Treating a horse with a substance banned on race day is a positive in my book, a $15000 dollar fine is somewhat of a hefty fine for nothing don't you think?

I would have been 14 and can remember having a $1 2x2 Double total cost $4 stortford Lodge and mister woodchips in the first leg, and looking at race 8 on that particular day, I would have had isotronic and muricata miss (also down the track)..I went with names in those days and always stayed loyal!

Yes, if you get on those horses that take to the grass and a good driver combo, You can have a really profitable season following them...I find the tips from the harness section when we were on R.C and now here on the grass were pretty spot on.....

This is a recent observation and Hesi might know this one . ....I have a drink now and again with a mate at Westgate in Massey. Next to the bar was the t.a.b (shut down earlier this year) there was a young lady working there, great body work, but when she laughed (and she always seemed to be laughing) the laugh would make Freddy Krueger run a mile, first time I heard it I thought she was putting it on, but it was real!!....Nice girl though and I'm sure she has another job at another agency out west... although I don't have the necessary documentation to go any further West....I.E tattoos, Black t shirt and a mullet!

I am always drawn to Sam ottley on the grass....,(I like the way she drives as well?) I like the way she is quite aggressive alot of the time to get to the front or get there and trail....Im like you happy, I love when the grass track racing gets going.

No thommo, you gallops girls take your leisure time a bit more seriously, just ask Lisa Cropp, Leanne Isherwood and I'll even pop over to Aussie and ask Michelle Payne...these girls will show you good time.....tell me they never did puddles for cuddles during their time on the happy juice.....but like you say they were probably a bit smarter than the harness boy's!
