Well, how bad is this. Called into Barrington TAB yesterday to collect several tickets that I had collected over cup week, as i had collected several betting vouchers amount was about $5k, not all mine, but a few of us biff in a bit of money each year, then i collect, paid into my eft pos card and i transfer into everyones account. Works fine, but not yesterday. Was told that they had already paid out over $50k in eft pos withdrawals, they were nearly at their limit for the day, told me to come back??? FFS, what is happening, biggest week of the year, very few TABs around, to get back your money its a hassle. Could have collected at track, but didnt have enough cash, so suggested voucher??

Gradually more coming over to BOAY. With the harness guys all tipping out some good winners over the last few months, and the gallops guys, especially Barry & Mardigras giving their views, this site is far more informative than rc if your a punter wanting a few to include

Had crap day too

Talked to a few groups that went today, everybody a bit flat about the day. 13,000 today, 15,000 last year, 17,000 year before. Going backwards rather quick, CJC built this meeting up, but have got too greedy, all those spoken to tonight probably wont go next year. This meeting used to be a nothing meeting years ago, the boot party cranked it all up, used to be cheap to attend, but not now.

It must be said it is a very even field. I struggle to see how Felaar is fav, at $3.80 currently. I know this horse has really been talked up by connections, well one anyway, but i struggle to find it in my top 4. Surely if it is good as they think, it should whip this field, but cant see it. Ok run last start, but didnt make ground on winner last start over the last 100m

What a great win, and the drive of the day. Funny race thou, great things happen gone 600m home, so leaders hampered a few, while marcola went woosh. Last year, every horse went quicker time than the winner today, go figure

Globe, i know you love the guy, thats fine, and his record is ok without being amazing, must add he wins most of his races lower sth island, usually weaker class horses, average drivers, his record at addington not flash. But maybe have a look at this horses first start before you stick up for him, he totally butchered the drive, 3 back on outer at 800m, didnt pull out, boxed in, flew late.

Thats Williamson for you. I liked mama knows best in the last, but i thought he would stuff up drive today, so never bet on it. Sure enough, drawn 1, bottled up with so many lead changes, then run into tiring horse in front when running into money. Horse is more of a grinder type, should not have hunted up at start, it could have drifted back then get train up.
