I have no idea how it works. I have started betting more with TAB & Betcha the last few months as Sportsbet have really cut down their promos, well to me anyway. I am a $10 to $20 a race sort of guy, not big betting but I do have a bet on most of the 2nd & 3rd promos, pity they dropped the 4th. Do all my sports betting with Betcha, as they offer better promos. So I suppose if they give me $100 free bets…. Will keep me betting for longer.

As I mentioned after this huge win…. I predicted it would struggle, and that it has even in small fields, less opposition etc…. Oh well it’s retired now, been a good horse for owners but result still hard to understand for me. Chief was expecting big things after this win…must have cost him a fortune 🫣

I initially opened a Crown Bet account, which was transfered to Beteasy. Both were absolutely brilliant, not a big punter but had an account manager who would make contact several times a year, always gave me $100 bonus bets for my birthday. Once Sportsbet took over, was a step down. Initially promos were good but have gradually declined to a point where I get better promos with TAB and Betcha. So might close Sportsbet account, then if they do stop me from punting in Aus, won’t worry me. Did everyone get the Exclusive offer from TAB this week? Deposit $100.00 and receive $100.00 worth bonus bets? Not bad at all..

Made some serious bucks when Bloss won the Hunter Cup. Pretty sure she paid around the $10 mark….

Well he has struggled riding in NZ, only just started back riding after a suspension, 4 times charged for using whip above allowed height. Whatever you say, looked ordinary when jumping off. Maybe he needs some Velcro….

No doubt it moved out, horses are not machines. Question is, minimal movement, experienced jockey would have stayed on.

Who is this Erin Leighton? Nothing against her but we have so many so called experts talking before race starts….why not hear more from trainers or owners, be far more interesting than a girl sitting on a horse telling us all the horses coats look good in the sun 🤭

Oh dear, what a terrible field today for the Wellington Cup. Must be the worst collection of mostly average hacks running around….. So many great previous winners that performed well or won the Melbourne Cup, Il Tempo, Simon De Montfort, Battle Heights, Good Lord, Koiro Trelay, Kiwi, Secured Deposit, Castletown, Second Coming….compare some of those horses to the nags running today. Maybe the time has come to race the cup over a shorter distance, may get a far better class horses running around….Australia must be laughing at that field.

So when the dog racing stops…. what is everyone employed in this industry going to do? Be interesting to hear thoughts of some…
