Looking forward to Addington returning to an exclusive harness track. I used to go to QE11 years ago only on occasions, but enjoyed being so close to the runners, but equally sitting up in the stands between races looking around remember the 1974 games. Once they moved to Addington, I lost interest to zero, went once and could hardly see them, never again. In fact on the dual code nights, it annoyed me more listening to dog racing between harness, so made me go less. Not unhappy to see them go, be interesting to see what Addington does with the inside track once the dog track goes. First thing, put up a decent winning post..

Hey TAB…. How come all the expensive packages are all sold out….. yet the $160.00 BGP have plenty available….maybe not so many want to be in a room with you and other like minded people… Downward spiral…..

Who knows… those selecting may not even have invested in the punters club, or if they did have a small investment. Those selections they picked on Sunday surely wouldn’t have taken long…. flip a few coins & dices.

Ha ha, here you are talking about stalking… but your looking back though my posts about BGP. Hardly bitter, you forget to mention I have said many times they are doing well getting more people to the track…. but as usual you only see the negatives in all posts… Anyway, a bit over you, it’s great that you see the positives in everything in NZ racing…but for most on here they are realists, tell it how it is.

I see BGP selling tickets for Champions day in March…. $160.00 ticket?? Includes 2 free drinks, carvery rolls and mini beef pies…. WTF Who is making the dough?

Yes, I agree. With the TAB bending over backwards and offering them crazy odds that no other punter can get…. yet still had zilch left last Sunday. Didn’t they get $1mill once in a pool….. yet only got $350k last Sunday. it’s a funny group to be part of… They love Ted and put him on a pedestal… yet if you followed his bets in the last 6 months you would have lost your dough, no negative comments after his nag tips run down the track, but many thank him as soon as he posts…. crazy. Not seen too many positive posts after Sundays selections, in fact a few have posted with negative comments. I like the BGP concept of getting groups to the track, but I reckon these punters pools will continue to decline. Not sure all the advertising on TV, social media & radio regarding punting pools and Betcha / TAB all over the show is a good look these days, makes a joke when I see the … Gamble Responsibly 🤣 Remember the days when TABs were tucked away off streets, down alleyways etc, how times have changed

Be good for the game if Te Akau get some more big priced flops…. they have had plenty but more would be fun. Love the battlers that win the big races, lower purchases or those bred themselves….

I did have a chuckle after first race yesterday…. Stephen Marsh said after race Ardalio won… he was working a treat, was telling people to keep quiet, or something like that. Pity BGP not close to stable after they punted fav in that race

I would say…. we will never see the BGP Hype again…. at least not for Karaka.

Must be pretty skint soon… I remember those days many moons ago at Addington….tossing up between a bet, beer or bus home… Usually ending up walking home and having a leak when I could 🫣

Not sure what they had going in race 4. Far less in the BGP pool this year, maybe punters are realising it may be better having a punt themselves
