I have a laff with their selections, once all the presenters were n course state their tips…. then you get presenters in studio to give theirs too…. really a total waste of time for mine. Another thing that is pointless, when a winning rider comes back to scale, they play a little video of the jockey….only thing is, by the time it’s finished the jockey is rushing to weigh in…. so his comments rushed🫣 And while I’m at it, how many times can you not see a slo motion replay because a graphic pops up with PHOTO…. but you can’t see horses nose to line up…. frustrating

And his drive in the last at Addington tonight was brilliant….horse settled 2nd when leader let Dunn go to lead. Now usually, this would be the end of the story, Dunn would slow the pace down to a walk, sprint home to win while others had no chance… Not tonight, Wilson rushed around to take lead and put pedal down….held on to win by a head, well done. I do get a bit sick of drivers sitting back letting Orange, Dunn & co dictate, so good to see this race 👍

Too true, Micky always on FB grizzling. I remember a few years back he was moaning that he was getting out of the harness game as no money in it, concentrate on gallops🤣🫣

I think Ashburton pulled pin during meeting last couple of years because of high winds…. Can’t remember that happening before. Wind did increase so I could understand why

Good one, I’ve only had these types of promos 2-3 times per year which is usually around feature racing. Pretty sure you can only use Bonus Cash on fixed odds, not 100% sure, obviously they take out initial bonus bet amount if you back a winner, but I use mine for my longer price selections which work ok. Just remember to use before they expire 👍

Well I suppose if your Arbing, that’s fair enough for the TAB to limit. I once had Betfair account but closed it couple years ago, several times i deposited and they took money out twice, took ages to sort, inplay is always suspect and pools only good for metro Aus racing, NZ punters never supported Betfair on NZ racing so pools crap. With so many sophisticated programmes punters are using around the world, and gambling sites limiting those arbing, must be hard to make money off racing, no doubt easier making money inplay on sports.

Yes, I agree. My main issue is when these meetings get abandoned….very rarely do you see meetings in Aus abandoned after racing started, did recently at Randwick but weather came thru late, conditions atrocious

It has been advertised on Duke TV that everyone is offered up to $100 for Karaka boost promo… So check in your promo section…even those that state TAB never give everyone anything…. makes them look a little silly.

So do you have accounts? Do you get offers? Tell us more you seem to know everything. As I mentioned earlier, last year on Trackside a QR code let anyone deposit $50 to get $50 extra…. I suppose that never happened? Me thinks TAB /Betcha having an all out blitz offering customers promos, getting more accounts opened. Then hoping government stops punters betting in Aus, at which time offers in NZ will decrease or stop… hoping to once again have a monopoly. No doubt a few TAB staff will be getting restless…. didn’t they only agree to keeping staff on for 2 yrs, must be getting close.

The TAB usually offer bonus back on earlier races, for me today first 4 races gallops and first 2 races harness. I assume many will get same offer, although some differ. TAB obviously want people betting on more races, so looking at those that bet on more races for turnover?

I do keep a record of all bets and the last 6 months I am up overall across my 3 accounts. I do find the bonus bets a big help, getting free bets is something we never had until recently smith TAB, would have loved it 20 yrs ago. Somebody did tell me once which I do every week, withdraw your money out on a Sunday evening, nobody will offer you many match deposit/ bonus offers if you have money in account. Sure enough, it works. So there goes your theory about me losing all my money, that’s not me.

I just thought everyone gets offer at different values… I know last year, watching Trackside on a Saturday arvo and they showed a QR code offering $50 bonus cash if you deposited $50… so that was open to all.

I have no idea how it works. I have started betting more with TAB & Betcha the last few months as Sportsbet have really cut down their promos, well to me anyway. I am a $10 to $20 a race sort of guy, not big betting but I do have a bet on most of the 2nd & 3rd promos, pity they dropped the 4th. Do all my sports betting with Betcha, as they offer better promos. So I suppose if they give me $100 free bets…. Will keep me betting for longer.

I had a couple mates get that too…one got same deal as myself and hardly bets, another got nothing and bets all the time, not sure how they work it
