  1. Did mainly comment on Aus gallops racing for big money. But I think Aus harness on whole more competitive than NZ
  2. Well done, Dunns recent run poor. Looks like it is continuing today
  3. Yeah, but let’s face it, with Nike & Akuto the standouts, some others going average
  4. Dunn stable going pretty average by their standard recently. Like most top stables, always go better when the money is up. Purdon stable hardly on fire either…
  5. Ohoka Le Bron took off yesterday, wow
  6. Australian gallops at the Metro Tracks are far superior than any NZ racing. Far more competitive racing, far better jockeys, far better tracks. As for harness, you have less team driving in Aus, drivers take on leaders all the time, rather than the nonsense stacking up the fields in NZ. I see the Butchers tried to help each other win the last race, sadly stablemate gasping turning for home carrying back stablemate, then family member Zac wins.
  7. Yeah, seems to go on every meeting. I suppose because we mostly race for peanuts, it’s always gonna be dodgy. One reason I love Aus racing, money is up and everyone trying
  8. I see Mickey Mouse had one of his gallopers out today. Miss Sailor, if they were trying today it would have nearly won. Settled back, Tina just sat back then without urging the horse flashed home thru middle, very quiet run indeed. Let us know if it’s worth punting next time micky when ya trying, we love backing on black 🤣
  9. Foveaux Gambler ended up in the one one the last lap, Alana waited until others went around her, blocked for a run, charged home to just miss. I didn’t have a punt on it, so not my money talking, but she should be charged for not trying with the horse, plain and simple. Happens too many times with certain drivers, let’s see what stipes say
  10. Oh well…. Hopefully I have a few races to get my money back…..😬🤣
  11. This horse was paying $1.20 fixed odds yesterday, really couldn’t believe it. I see now it’s at $1.45, which still looks far too short. Had a decent whack on Carmelite at $6, been going great races. Also backed Eyeliner at $10, trials were great before last start. What’s ya views everyone, is this fav gonna upset me?
  12. Nope, but too be honest I only usually have $10 or $20 bets on these. Take the $50 ones on Sportsbet, as you have option to split. Seems no bonus bets paid today…ha ha
  13. Seems strange, Harness Racing needs characters, drivers, trainers, owners & punters, that makes the game entertaining. Keep chatting and laughing, good for everyone’s mental health
  14. Yeah, Your dead right, I did have a small share in a horse many years ago with no luck. Decided then I would rather spend money drinking and betting, rather than horse ownership, who knows might be involved at a later date. Kim’s reply was spot on, great that owners are happy to see their horses competing, can’t all be champions.
  15. Nice reply, good luck to the owners. Maybe I am bringing them bad luck, I will stop having a few dollars on it to give you a chance😊, thanks for reply👍
  16. Well, TAB /ENTAIN can not even get the basics sorted. Offer bonus bets, yet still waiting 3 hrs after race, seems they have stated they are having problems, well it’s been happening for months. Out of protest, not betting with TAB anymore today. Sportsbet always give bonus bets within a few minutes. They will get my money the rest of day
  17. Hey Kim, Many starts ago I thought Not Over was a little unlucky, so added it to my Black Book. Sadly, I keep punting it but I have decided enough is enough. Today you gave it a great run, but it showed about as much dash as a 200kilo guy on Boxing Day. Am I better to buy more undies rather than keep betting on it, please respond, thank you
  18. Good stuff Kim, makes it clearer now

Would rather listen to him than those trackside presenters on site. They think they know their stuff, but we know they don’t
  20. Come on, if they run it like a business, they have 80% of their top punters, easier to get more spend from these types rather than worry about the 20% buck each way types. Let’s face it, if you can’t afford trackside each month, you probably shouldn’t be betting!
  21. More about Stormy Morn on , So It Began thread.
  22. This horse looked pretty handy on the grass early on. I always wondered how it would go with another stable 🤔. Still, good on trev
  23. Stormy Morn has been mentioned recently, his owner Peter Moore recently passed away. RIP Peter. Thoughts are with the family
  24. Just to add, The handy Boy Castleton (10m) won the last race Stormymorn (75m) contested, winner went quicker than Stormys dominion time so not a bad effort, from memory he finished midfield so prob went same time. Stormy was lucky that Scotch Tars form had declined, and Sir Castleton & Basil Dean were just about to burst on the scene, as he would have battled against those 3. Peter Moore trained the head strong Kakama which was related to Ardstraw. Very speedy but not too brave, needed the front and not get attacked. Remember her once racing at Addington over New Years, first night stopped as if shot. Backed up a couple of days later and lead all the way beating Diamond Moose. Portfolio dead heated for first twice? Any other horse beat that?
