    Watched video a few times, looks like horse was pushed a bit towards inside rail…. But surprised that a senior rider would fall off like that? Mind you, suppose he is getting on a bit so reaction time was poor

    One of my favs was Hands Down, pity he struggled on tight/ right handed tracks. His cup win was brilliant, but I really looked forward to the July /August kick off at Addington. A group of us would get a hot dog, walk to the start while freezing then watch HD bobble at the start, add ground to his handicap then work around the field and be right there at the finish… big effort. Then do same with Sir Castleton… back in the days when you looked forward to a Saturday. Even watched Canterbury play at Lancaster Park then Addington put on buses to track… great days

    Funny how nobody in the racing game put there hand up and own their mistakes. What a crock of shit, nobody released button, of course they did. Did it work ok before that race, yes…. Did it work ok after that race, yes. Don’t get sucked in again

    I saw that, what a crock of shit. He was only saying recently it wouldn’t matter how much or how little rain…. Track would hold up perfectly. Heads will roll on this, will be a flop once cooler weather arrives

    Bit of a joke really…. After all the time & money spent, we still have huge issues after a few showers. If it wasn’t a big meeting and the money was up…. I doubt the meeting would have gone ahead

    It seems the word on the BGP page is that they never placed that win bet in the last, was never posted on their BGP site? Stated that a TAB staffer put on TAB site….which was wrong??? Mmm

    Yes, I see it was changed. Look at screenshot I pasted, $599k on the winner of the last at $3.60? That is what everyone is asking about, seems some are saying TAB wouldn’t take that bet on… so changed to what you posted.

    Well… the old Style Council out tomorrow. I have taking it out of my black book, decided not to punt it again. See it’s nearly fav, but too much of a hard watch for mine

    Some are saying they only received 50% of their invested money, some are saying they made 50% on invested money, I have no idea. Not sure if they changed a few bets and they were not updated on TAB, or what. But plenty of confused punters out there….for mine surprised so many are moaning, most would have only contributed a few bucks. I wasn’t in it, but go the BGP team, anyone that can get 850 to the races deserves the kudos

    Yeah, sorry thought it was 50% of your money back. Seems there is some confusion on bets, this was posted on the TABs BGP site. Did they change the bet?

    The surprising thing about the whole event is why they ran the race again? Horse that just missed out winning the race, had raced the longest first attempt…. you would think at least to put race back a race instead of expecting then to race again in a 30 degree windy day

    Pathetic….horse knuckled over when it was tired. No other horse slipped, jockeys don’t care that races off, they can all watch Karaka races. One reason that puts me off racing in nz

    Yeah, looking at that first race from Riccarton you can see the calibre of riders today. I know, before people jump up and down and say we have Kylie Williams and co… yes they are good…. But trust me some of the others are terrible.
