  1. You are a tosser, need to read properly. Duh, I know Te Akau race plenty to n the Sth Island. My point being is they have huge control in these syndicates, if they no longer want to race a horse, even though the syndicate members may want to try racing elsewhere, it may not be the case. Not dogging the stable, is what is. Just stating that syndicates seem to have issues, with all stables.
  2. I havnt hinted at anything, I have mentioned one scenario, just as it is.
  3. Well do you know any Te Akau runners that have raced in other stables?
  4. Only hear about the success stories, ad on trackside at the moment makes me 🤮 One syndicate I know of wanted to race a horse down south rather than see it beaten up north each start…. wouldn’t allow another trainer to race it, so no bad luck. Those involved were peeved…. Thats why you don’t see any Te Akau runners changing stable, wouldn’t want someone improving it! Apart from the top owners, rest are just a number
  5. Wow, that track is crap. Nothing coming from back, makes Te Rapa look good.
  6. I’m not a fan of Ellis and Te Akau….you hear the good stories, but I know a few that I wouldn’t like to repeat….
  7. Geo blocking won’t go ahead in NZ, no other major country allow it. Let’s face it, NZ has little in racing and sports that punters world wide want to invest on, rugby is a dead duck, and our horse racing is a wooden spoon compared to Aus…. So Entain expect to have a monopoly …. but want to allow punters to bet on overseas racing, events for little? Australia may want a bigger slice, at the moment they are getting a cut from NZ punters betting with them, maybe if it’s stopped some sort of Tarif could be applied, Trump will help. Sky City allow overseas punters to bet with them, so they won’t want it, other sites will also be blocked so NZers will be peeved. As I have stated, if I couldn’t bet in Aus, my total bet spend in NZ would not increase with TAB or Betcha, I use each agency for specific betting as most do.
  8. Ha, you obviously don’t withdraw much, that’s common knowledge
  9. Well, how big was the crowd? Also, did the BGP group have any winning bets?
  10. Yeah, 👍 only battled for 4th, a bit keen early, thought would go better. Woah, what luck winner had with that inside run
  11. I don’t mind Kirsten Green, at least she is confident enough to get horses to the front, seems to rate them well. And she trains a few winners, so must be doing something right. Don’t know for sure, but must win the most races for a female driver / trainer down south? That’s a guess 😆
  12. Ha, thought someone would comment. Had perfect trip, others had crap runs. At least it will pay for feed for a month…. Good luck Kev, but wow
  13. Got on at $7-50….. if your looking at form in this race, it stands out easily. Now at $4.80, will win well
  14. Did you lose $5 tonight….
  15. Very sad…. Seemed a top bloke…
  16. A few years ago, if you came off the rails and checked a horse which galloped you would be disqualified…. I like the old rule. Look at Ann Sophie in the last today, certainly caused interference when pushing out, now it seems it’s allowed.
  17. 🤣🤣 Obvious the horses up front faded…hardly skill to win that race
  18. Pretty sure BGP tipped out this horse on FB. Each time they tip one, the sheep offload bigtime
  19. Was lucky that those up front faded otherwise wouldn’t have got run. I like the speedo
  20. Well, John Morrison drives with horror draw? Still gonna invest a bit on it at $15, but not as confident as Friday. Let’s see which horses back up well. Quite like this Cromwell 2 day meeting, think Nubliah Chamay my best bet, roughie Ellie Franco
  21. On this site there are trainers and ex jockeys, maybe you could answer below questions if they were asked 30 yrs ago….lets say around 1990. 1, Who made the decision to call off racing, was it mainly jockeys like today? 2, Are the majority of track conditions worse now than then? 3, Did the clubs, trainers & owners apply more pressure on jockeys to continue riding even if conditions not ideal? 4, Compare both eras regarding track watering? Thanks, be interesting to hear, also anything else that has changed in this timeframe that could help me understand…
