Chief Stipe Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 FFS basic website navigation doesn't work. I thought I'd save time reloading by using the back to previous page button on my smart phone. It didn't go from race 4 back to race 1 which was the order I had viewed them in but took me back to the home page and the bloody blue hamsters! Racing to sports load time from about 6 secs to 3 secs since yesterday but our internet download speed double what it was yesterday and upload a shade faster. Might just be that. Logic would say instead of cramming everything into one site it would have been wiser splitting the website into say 4 e.g. tote, Bookie ,form. and financial. With form especially NZ form combine with NZTR, HRNZ etc and other interested parties giving punters an efficient, pleasurable experience. That way NZ racing would always have an edge plus much easier and cheaper to develop. Quote

One thing about that site which is great is that the race replays are on the site minutes after they have run in real time, so having no NZ TAB account or Trackside will be no problem, just wait a few minutes and watch it! I think somebody else has mentioned it....but why the hell can you not see the horses names, just shows first few letters. Its not like they have no space, they have heaps room, just get rid of horses colours....could fit name in easily. Who trialed this app first....I bet it wasn't a punter. Sometimes I would look at results on different days years back....sadly all those results back to 2000 are now gone.... 1 Quote
