Had no idea Debbie Henderson was in a Wheelchair?. Backed her quite a few times going back a few years when she was riding over the sticks.

Pity weigh-in didnt have anything on this. We've had some pretty amazing female joçkeys over the years and Debbie Henderson winning the Grand National was an outstanding effort. Good on Oamaru Club for this raceday.

Does anyone remember Steph Faulkner ( Clark )  winning the Homeby Steeplechase as an apprentice?  Weighing all of 52 kg at the time I reckon.

She was a very good flat rider as well if I recall correctly. I seem to associate her with Clipper Run for Pat Corboy.

Wow Jan,Debbie,Gina,you guys still look awesome,I remember sitting in the Ascot Park Jockeys Room as a just 15 yr old,listening to you all,I rode in the hurdle race that day for Mr Hillis,it was my 2nd raceday ride ever,
I'm pretty sure it was a Hens night coming up for......

A trainer forgotten from the past, think he trained at Fairview from memory, trustum, dryden, another couple used to be down that way, also B Jones who I remember won a jarden mile with Johnny Alone, by un fancied sire Blue Vermillion, I remember giraffe was a grey horse by standaan, a very good sire of wet trackers, may have won more over the jumps than on the flat, aptly named.
