A Big Night at Forbury on Thursday!

a race night packed with superstars and intrigue...

Can Eddie Murphy get his first winner since 2013 with Mach O'Melley in Race 3?

Can John Versteeg get his first driving and /or training win for the 2019 season on either Prestissimo or Bound to Impress? Must go close!

Can Kerry Kelly get her first win since starting training in 1984 (albeit with a few years off) with Iron Woman or Majestic Rose? MR must be a chance surely...

Can Nora Bishop get her mojo going again with a placing with some of harness racing's great battling horses like Billy Klondike or Baldoon or Best of the Bunch?

Can Alexy get win 9 at start 254?

Can Michael House leave his computer and make it in time to Forbury?

Will Jason Teaz, in his last night of calling at Forbury, throw in a few of Brodie's  nicknames for drivers? He could possibly use “The NailMan” Brad Williamson, The PeelMan” Blair Orange or ”Sit Back” Brendan McLellan. But we will keep Kimberly out of it...

And a big thank you to Jason Teaz himself, I have always enjoyed the freshness and insight of your comments before, during and after the race. I really enjoyed how your tone changed when you were surprised by the failure of a favourite or the unexpected win of an outsider. Priceless.

Raphoe for life ?

Maybe the nite to take some retirement all up bets on the horses mentioned, by our tipster,  good luck to Mr Teaz for the future, the one quote that sticks in my mind was from one of the calls at the Oamaru gallops, a flat race, he referred to high forty the jumper, when he was well back, like the boy with the wheelbarrow, he's got the job in front of him.

its a valid question you raise

until a fortnight ago i was thinking the same about bunty hughes

Bunty hughes has Hughie junior in race 3  tonight at 2.70 on ff place .  Can't see it not running in first 3. Looks a good multi  choice.Mind you,i thought sweeny todd was a good thing last week, hopefully i'm using the shovel to fill in the hole instead of digging a bigger one.

Not sure if brodie is wayne higgs or not. But, i will take my hat off to wayne higgs, he made his dough selling sleepers, then had a dream to be a force in harness racing.

Didnt come off, but he gave it a go, driving, training and owning, after a while he pulled back, was always gonna be hard. Had some good success, so whoever wayne higgs is, lets not be too harsh
