Race 7: Jimmy Cannon - 31s into 9s?

Happy, to be fair it doesn’t take much to shorten the fixed odds.

They can now monitor every punter that wants to put a bit on and if there are a series of vets the odds will be slashed.

Odds can be halved by next to nothing going on, I can assure you.

Thing that you have to laugh at is the TAB seems to be assisting some punters to the point that they seem to be aiding and abetting some punters with money laundering, and yet others can hardly get anything on!!

Some of the win bets and amounts that some punters are able to get on is bordering on just chucking money away today!

Dead right.

And the odds (on final field) can be crunched in (with minimal money on), yet the TAB do not, or barely, move anything else in the market out. Bloody sick of it.

Having said that, it sure did look like the connections of Jimmy Cannon were definitely trying today. Not saying that they don't try all the time. Merely saying they were really trying today. Put the thing in the race. Weren't going to die wondering.

I think I heard 8000 on Matt Damon earlier at 1.70FF?

Seems some can do what they want.

Brodie's sister in law, nephew, his local dairy owner and his dog named 'Allstar' covertly helped the Brodster get it on.

Na not me!

Can not be bothered at the moment!

For you Ranga, you haven’t got a damn clue.

If you had been subjected to half of what I have endured from the NZ TAB, you would be bitter too.

You and Tonka come out with your smart arse comments just because you can!

Dont worry  I have tried everything to the point that it is not worth the effort anymore.

I ain’t producing any ID to the TAB, I ain’t playing there stupid little games and if punters want to do that then that is their right.

Dont bother coming back with another smart arse comment!!!

Brodie, I haven’t made any smart arse comments. I have called you out when you have said something that I disagree with.

I think it’s probably been done to death on other threads relating to the AML (which I have no intention of re litigating on this one).

Cos you got nothing Tonka!

You state something just like Ranga and then kick for touch!

What did you call me out in regards to the AML Act?

You think that everyone should be considered money launderers if they are collecting over $1k????

You have lost the plot if that is your thoughts!!!

At no point did I say that or anything that could lead your to draw that conclusion .

Go back and read the threads, it’s quite clear and obvious, more people than just myself have pointed it out to you. I’m not interested in side tracking this thread.

clearly that is not the case

this is quite possibly your best lost plot episode yet

Everyone is considered a money launderer Ranga!

If you collect over 1k you have to produce ID to identify yourself!

What part of that don’t you understand?

Does the fact we are all subject to random roadside breath tests make us all considered to be drink drivers in your eyes?

arrant nonsense

dear old nana jones having used her 3 grand childrens ages in a boxed $1 trifecta that pays $1022.80 will have to identify herself to collect but will not be considered a money launderer by anyone with the smallest amount of commonsense.

Off course it shows that the TAB thinks that someone who has invested $2 and collected $1k could be a money launderer as they have to prove who is collecting that massive sum!

Why does the TAB staff need to ask a punter for ID when they clearly are not a launderer just got lucky with a collect.

Asking regular punters known to the TAB staff as Not laundering money,  but just trying to have a punt for ID every damn time has got nothing to do with money laundering but controlling the bigger punters.

Why don’t they follow the rules as defined in the Act which is $10k??????????

So when will they ask for ID when buying a Lotto ticket?

If it is the DIA enforcing these changes then the TAB have bought it on themselves by crowing constantly about Turnover instead of Revenue.

With regard to the Act - yes the trigger point is $10k for reporting but that can be accumulative e.g. 10 x $1k.  So in that respect maybe the TAB are obliged to report however the reporting should be on SPENDING not COLLECTING!
