Happy Sunrise
Oscar B was disappointing and if they have plans for a venture to North America they might have to have a rethink since his bubble has burst to a degree. Majestic Man couldn't win with a drive like that. Sitting in the running line and get pushed back to last with a lap to go. Chase Auckland had every chance, Triple 8 sitting parked had no chance and AG's was sound. So, we go from destroying the meek Aussies at Auckland to not being able to beat them in their own backyard. The Fixer seems to be in a funk but at least Belle of Montana is showing how good she is.

Was 1 2 3 the pegs to run the tri. He should've gone a bit better but he is still a 4yo. MM was such a poor drive, but didnt finish off like he should've done some as Temporale

Newmarket
You know, that Purdon stable is hard to fathom at times. Sometimes they win the majority of races when the money is up, usually horses going really having hard runs, parked, 3 wide, you name it, many win. But lately, compared to their standards they have been average? What changed in australia????
Gammalite
2 hours ago, Newmarket said: But lately, compared to their standards they have been average? What changed in australia???? That's an easy one Newmarket. He didn't bring the Group 1 winners from December over. Ultimate Sniper, Cruz Bromac (nz Cup winner) Winterfell, One Change, Amazing Dream all not here. Chase Auckland , a gallant 3rd last night Hunter Cup, but was well behind even Ashley Locaz in the Interdominion Final as the 4th favoured stable runner. so is not the best ALLSTARS horse. Self Assured (Auckland Cup winner) would of been favourite last night , but didn't run. His 2 x 2nds here in Australia were excellent runs in previous weeks, and if Spankem doesn't return, He may be the star of the ALLSTARS Show shortly. Blossom lady
No it's called racing on natural ability. last night the fiver couldn't even win after dropping down a level. smmoth deal who allstars thought good enough to bring over fir vic derby couldn't even win a lowly rating race. as for oscar B mark has been quoted as being best ever trotter he has trained. IMO he keeps bringing out these claims to justify why "superstars" continue to appear one after another one break down. if chase auckland was that bad why did he start favourite? As for being "gallant"" as you claim he had the softest possible run possible and fell into 3rd. Personally I think he's the most over rated horse in the all stars barn. There is a reason mark hasn't gone back to the auckland reactor well. The big question is why did the Allstar horses only race on natural ability in Victoria these past few weeks. Is it they were under more scrutiny from the Victorian authorities. or is it because of the new testing for illegal drugs announced in France and New York recently. No surprises the man behind the positive New York drug tests is a disgraced Australian cheat!

No surprises the man behind the positive New York drug tests is a disgraced Australian cheat! Yes and their Natural Ability is quite high isn't it ? I think 'the fiver' is The Fixer in disguise , obviously these races lately too short for him, go another lap and he comes into play. You are fighting yourself Blossom accusing 'Chase Auckland' as being the most over-rated ALLSTARS runner in the barn, yet it runs 3rd in a 500k feature race last Sat in Hunter Cup, he wins your Group one NZ FFA , That Cambridge Mile there as well, well that is sensational then !!! What a fantastic effort (if he is so over-rated?) Wouldn't mind racing him at all. Well done Chase Auckland . Your BIG question is accusations of drug cheating ??? Don't they swab them at Auckland as well as Victoria ?? I lost count of the Group 1 wins in December at Auckland (and the Addington NZ Cup carnival) Where are your positive swabs then ? Or are you just hoping and not enjoying the racing as you should be ? I have an interesting theory on why so many ALLSTARS break down. Champion Trainer/Driver Vin Knight had the same problems. Talk about that another time.

Well you should stick to INNOCENT until proven GUILTY in life as a general rule Mr Brodie. Why aren't you picking on us cheating Aussies who were caught in NZ? .Smoken Up and Junior's Image both winning Interdominions in New Zealand then disqualified for positive swabs . bona fide cheats. As was the Wolfenden Clan with Placid Victor disqualified from 2nd in Interdominion final for a positive there.
