Brodie
Curious, seriously what has this government done over rather last 2 or more years that has been of benefit to NZ! The minimum wage rise will put up prices and no one will be better off because workers will be laid off. She is manipulating the followers and the fact is that she has totally overreacted now, based on what has actually occurred in NZ!! There are going to be far more deaths from suicides from people who have lost their jobs, businesses and family due to the financial pressures. A good leader is a leader who can make good decisions depending on the circumstances. You only need to read her email to see what arrogance the lady now has!! Noodlum
I think Holy Ravioli is a young naive Communist. If he isn't young then he must have missed all the revolutions because based on what he has written he wouldn't have survived any. Eh Holy - China needs you!

Note the article does not quote any opposition politicians and was republished in its entirety by Stuff and the NZ Herald. ? I wonder if Jacinda and Grant will ask for the $50m back. Here you go ,our ever vigilant 'concern signalling' critic! 'he government has released thousands of pages of documents around its Covid-19 decision-making processes this afternoon. The document dump includes “papers, minutes, and key advice,” the earliest dating back to the 28th of January, related to decisions made up to April 17-Spinoff.? Standard governmental procedure...only a handful of ministers deal with situations like the Chch quakes for example. Its efficiency that also utilises expert advisors outside Govt.

The document dump includes “papers, minutes, and key advice,” the earliest dating back to the 28th of January, related to decisions made up to April 17-Spinoff.? LOL. Holy that's the oldest trick in the book normally played by lawyers when doing disclosure. Essentially what you do is dump everything you can find remotely related to the case and disclose it to the other side EXCEPT you "overlook" some key one's which you "find" late in the process. "Our apologies your honour but we overlooked these documents which we hope you understand given the sheer volume of documents that we have released." The Judge wearily nods his head knowing full well that he has pulled the same trick many times before. In this case the Government will have to be legally challenged to get them released. So it isn't what WAS released its what WASN'T released. Reminds me of a story. I was the plaintiff in a case and my lawyer and I were going through the disclosure process. I had all sorts of documents in a big box. In there was a Ski ticket. I said "I suppose we don't need this." I explained the tenuous connection to the case. My lawyer smiled and said "throw it in, it will puzzle them and they will waste time trying to work out what relevance it is." Same story here. Happy Sunrise
12 hours ago, Brodie said: Sorry Happy, I am on the money. When you have one person in a so-called democracy making all the decisions without consultation from any of the other ministers or caucus, then that is dictating and not democracy at all. Even the lockdown that was enforced appears as it was illegal. They are all scared of her, things are starting to unravel for her and whether Winston and The Greens are going to continue to accept this total control is debateable. Happy, have you read the article about her gagging every minister and everything now has to go thru her?.. That article is a nothing. Every political would do the same. You can't have people going off message in an extreme time like this.
