Bit Of A Yarn

I did read that he was going to be driven with one run at them, but he did look to be flat at the 400m. He did seem to pick up the bit again once in the straight, but it seemed short lived, not sure if he ran out of room down on the pegs.Should definitely get fitter with that run tho.

They clearly weren’t trying to win first up, much like its last start.

Anyone who backed him needs their head read, no trials, no workouts, was just out their for a run around, which  isn’t what race days are supposed to be for but a lot of them do it.

Hope it pulls up okay as he’s a very exciting horse when at full fitness and when they are trying.

If you follow southland harness you would have to have noticed everything from this stable has lost about 10 lengths that has run in the last 3 months. I know, some will say i'm knocking the horse. I'm not.He is very good.   Can anyone name even 1 horse from this stable that is racing at the same level it was pre covid?

I see they have had 4 seconds and 4 thirds so far this season. UDR is way down but early days yet?

welcome back galah, there wasnt much opportunities so I guess  to scratch from the trial was ??? but they admitted it, They are using them at the southern races to get him ready for the bigtime, Good luck but highly doubt it. seems strange to me that you have to explain yourself if you are backed to win, It falls in line with the way southern racing is due to people like you!

Thanks for the clarification. Thought you may have been inferring something negative about my comments, but good to see that not the case and you are still your  cheerful self.
