  1. Maybe Jamie should change who breaks their horses in and educates them. Why didn't WINX wear blinkers?
  2. I would do the same in a competition that works off posted final dividends rather than actual bets in a pool like for example oncourse punters club competitions.

  4. 25cm or 10 inches. I guess length depends on your viewpoint.
  5. The last time I looked it was around 95. Just confirmed it is 95 in NZ. 105 in OZ I think. Alligator Blood 102. Super Seth 108
  6. Aside from the fact a kg won't make a jot of difference the bigger issue is winning races graded the same in NZ as OZ but with a lot less quality are treated the same.

  9. Alligator Blood Banquo Catalyst Super Seth....(pulled the right reign Waikato Stud). I tend to agree with OZ pundits that this crop of 3 yr olds are outstanding.
  10. $1:70 was a good price comparative to the NZ TAB at $1:10. Surely you understand that is their assessment of what they would consider a "value" price. It isnt meant to be an indicator of what the tote or bookies would offer. Based on their assessment they probably wouldn't have had a bet in the race. Catalyst may be better value in his next race.
  11. I agree Kopia. He has an amazing turn of foot. Also a high cruising speed once he gets there. Then as he showed at Ellerslie he has gears above that. He can sprint twice e.g. HB Guineas. Can get out of trouble and still have momentum and still hit over drive e.g. Ruakaka and Riccarton. His sectionals on our tracks suggests he can foot it with best in OZ.

  15. So Ellerslie, Trentham, Riccarton, Te Rapa are the neediest?
  16. Then explain his previous three starts where he was slow to get going when he had the hood ON?!
  17. FFS Thomaas you are getting worse. Shame you aren't a thoroughbred we could introduce thicker skins to horses so they can take the whippings you get.
  18. Another idiot statement! Since when has the thoroughbred industry bred from NON-performers!!!????
  19. Thomaas also forgets he was talking about laying Catalyst! At $1:10 there was no value for the risk.
  20. They didn't see value in the price both horses were paying. Simple really.
  21. This post would have to take the prize for the biggest bunch of crap you have ever written. They broke 1:09 at Ellerslie on a D4 track. Catalyst ran home in 32! They are FACTS! Not supposition and the subjective spin that you write.
  22. Yes Yes Yes, Nature Strip, Alize, .....Kolding, Super Seth
  23. He's a serious race horse. BUT WOW how many serious race horse's are pitching up for autumn in OZ?
