  1. festively plumper 😂 Can you become a race caller Rusty? You would bring back the crowds, maybe not the festively plumper ones, but I am sure you would be a hit.
  2. Auto corrects when it detects bullshit being typed 😂 lol
  3. I am on a roll tonight with negativity but who would buy Vigoroso? Honestly.
  4. Darrin Williams speaks sense. Believable guy. His video today about the meetings and implications with Covid was sensible and realistic.
  5. I can't imagine that would be right. Makes no sense unless you coach the Warriors.
  6. You only have to listen to the fluff language used, the likes of 'I had a very good meeting with ....' and 'keep coms open even if we have nothing to say' Nobody cares about describing a meeting positively. People want action and outcomes. I worry for racing. They all seem to operate at the level of the start in Race 9.
  7. Things don't add up but nobody seems to be asking the right questions, media included.
  8. and talk inane rubbish in 'chatting with the chief' More fluff put out today. I won't post it as it is not worthy.
  9. Ardern talks a big game of unity, kindness and working together. When she claims 'we have a plan' plus a team of 5 million and the ability to get back to where we were. But how did the virus get into NZ if you and your government team had unity and the ability to work together, Jacinda? I can't understand how there is not more anger directed at the government's performance.
  10. Time to take this approach and attitude. The government have shown reasonably consistently that they can't manage the border so we are wasting our time trying to keep it out. If they were really serious about stamping it again, Rotorua would have been in lockdown for 3 days. They are wasting their time in Auckland if even one person has contracted it in Rotorua. If they decide to go back to Level 4 after it has got out again I think they could lose the election or their popularity at the least. Will racing continue in Level 3? No real drama having no crowds at Level 2, Australia showed they can manage racing while the virus is out there. We should do the same otherwise racing may be crippled even further.
  11. Panic buying just shows how thick some people are.
  12. Why is Rotorua not in lockdown?
  13. They were gutless. Too concerned about individuals feelings and now the country will pay, possibly very heavily. Don't worry 'be kind' is back in use, I'm sure that will control the disaster possibly about to happen.
  14. So it is back in NZ. What will the effect on the industry be if racing has to stop again. Bit of a worry.
  15. You have no hope of being listened to if you use the word 'officialdom' in a sentence.
  16. Now trained by Regan Todd. The effect could be the same as Tornado Valley going to Australia. This is going to be worth a watch on Sunday at Oamaru. He could be in the Pre-nom odds for the Dominion after the race!
  17. The starter has added a new unapproved ratings system to harness. Some start on the front with a running start and others are off 20m looking sideways. A hit with punters.
  18. He is doing very well. No doubt that. There are quite a few drivers adding value to their horses at the moment.
  19. Good points. I am coming from the angle of the clubs who have lost dates and I wonder if it fair that a successful club disappears when they provide turnover.
  20. For a moment, I thought the young gun Robbie Close on Hell's Shadow was looking around with confidence at the field in the rear view mirror but it turned to looks of major panic very quickly once she started going up and down in the same place! Punting is never easy on the heart.
  21. Come on, Galah, I know you want to post something. 😂
  22. BTW. I also took Invaluable in the quaddie. Maybe my TAB account is as big as Master JJ's now?
  23. Questions. So if the stakes are reduced for harness racing due to lower turnover should the meetings which do not attract betting should be canned? Why persist with meetings which do not generate? Should revenue generation not be the most important factor in removing race days from the calendar? Are the clubs who have been removed poor performers?
  24. I was driving a horse on the second row. He was actually yelling out 'Happy' in shock because he saw me 30 metres behind the tapes. In jest.
  25. Actually HTP, I am not sure if you are joking or not, but the start today defies belief and gives some horses a massive advantage. Maybe they should look into the race for irregularities?
