  1. I wonder if the TAB are doing a Biden. As Biden goes about destroying America, maybe the TAB are doing the same, destroy the product and out of the ashes a new world TAB will arise. If this is their model, then hats off to a job well done. Went to my local TAB two weeks ago to pull $1600 out. Wanted to transfer money direct into bank account. They would only give me $1k, had to go back next day for the rest. No money changing hands, just one account to another. A shitty grand is all you are allowed in any 24hr period. Simply insane.

Well well well, 30 mls of rain over the last week and the ALL WEATHER track is fooked. So many on the NZGRA payroll gravy train and nobody can get it right. Sad really.
  3. I have been going to bring this up in the past, but thought better of it because woke feminists would go crazy. But my thoughts are females are just not as physically strong as males especially when it comes to falls. They are just as gifted as males when it comes to riding, but when things go wrong they are just not as strong biologically as males, and thats why I think females are on the wrong side of the stats.
  4. What a good question Freda, I have sat here and thought who would want us and I keep thinking Somalia TAB or on a good day maybe the Indian TAB.
  5. On a scale of one to ten I would rate Weir's cruelty to the 3 horses concerned at no more than a one. About the same level as an electric fence or dog collar. Very little to see here other than hype and melodrama. Personally 6 months would of been reasonable. Just my view Bloggs, mind you if a jigger was used during a race then I would support a life ban, not because its cruel, but because its cheating on a grand scale.
  6. He's certainly got a fixation on Darren Weir. counselling may be in order.
  7. I agree with you Bloggs on the fact Victoria has gone woke. You have a tyrant running the state in Andrews, how they voted that bastard back in has got me beat, says a lot about the electorate. Supreme Court and in general the Judiciary are downright bent, so it comes as a surprise Weir got off without conviction. But hey, he was due some luck, and must of run into a Judge that could think and act honestly on his own volition. To Weirs credit, he gave Miss Payne her big break where none of the other trainers did.
  8. Looks like the Judge saw it for what it always was, a witch hunt, hence the fine only. I see his time is up Feb 2023, so I expect he will apply for his license back and being he's served his time, and assuming all fines paid, then no reason to stop him coming back. My opinion there will be many owners willing to entrust him with horses.
  9. And then we come to bodies in motels.
  10. I would approve Darren Weir breaking in horses no problem. In fact in my opinion, Darren Weir's case was a witch hunt and travesty of justice in getting 4yrs. The man was persecuted by Victorian race officials. Victoria has a bad reputation for witch hunts, look at what they did to Cardinal George Pell. Corrupt State run by a tyrant named Daniel Andrews, killer of thousands of rest home victims. Darren Weir was guilty of coming from the wrong side of the tracks and being successful.

I feared they were going to crash into the 295 boxes. Agree connections new, Stipe new, commentator new, just the mug punter kept out of the loop. I would of been hot if i owned the victim dog. RIB only good for sitting in tree's.
  12. The post has remained hidden. I am sure if the Chief had watched it rather than judging it by its cover he would have found the swastika was not offensive in the context it was displayed.
  13. aquaman 931 Replied: September 26, 2021 I know its a long video, 35minutes odd. But once you get to the 15minute mark it becomes riveting. It is an angle on things from a perspective that I never considered. Chief Stipe 6,692 Replied: September 26, 2021 OK I'll have another look at it.
  14. Chief Stipe 6,692 Replied: September 26, 2021 OK I'll have another look at it.
  15. quaman 931 Replied: September 26, 2021 I know nothing about the interviewer, other than he has very little imput into the interview. Its the undertaker thats interesting, he has a story to tell, and its worth listening too. It has caused me several sleepless nights. Who knows the truth in this strange world that we now find ourselves in, but this man sounds very plausible and i for one do not discount it considering the lie's and misinformation fed to me every day from the pulpit. Quote Chief Stipe 6,692 Replied: September 26, 2021 But what is the background of the guy doing the interviewing?
  16. aquaman 931 Replied: September 26, 2021 OK, at least i know where it went. Nazi signage put me off too, but it was not in reference to the post in so much as it compared to medical experiments and a comparison to whats happening in todays world post covid. I think it was an important message from the coalface. Cheers.
  17. hief Stipe 6,692 Replied: September 26, 2021 I haven't removed it per se. It is hidden. When I viewed it there was Nazi insignia displayed at the beginning. Although I have a fairly open policy of what can be posted on BOAY I have to be careful about some stuff. I already have enough problems with some arseholes that deliberately post inflammatory stuff and keywords in an attempt to attract the authorities. So my approach is to fact check and to make sure that there is no references to extreme organisations. The Nazi insignia failed the first pass. Quote
  18. Speaking of undertakers, I put a post up on here of an interview with an English undertaker by the name of John OLooney explaining all the huge rise in deaths that his business was attending to especially in rest homes after vaccination. It was most informative. Also what he was seeing when embalming bodies. It was put up in the Covid 19 Yarn segment. Why am i saying this, well the Chief Stipe censored it and took it down which pissed me off, especially since there was very little wrong with it. Since then a well known NZ undertaker has now come out and endorses everything that John OLooney was saying as he was seeing the same things in his business. So don't be fooled, censorship is alive and well even on this site, although nowhere near as bad as that other site run by a chap that has a funny name called scooby.
  19. After reading this thread I have come to the conclusion Nigel McGrath must be a good bloke, especially seeing the names of Wallis and Williams being to the forefront of the investigation. I have no problem with him getting his license back for breaking and education of horses. He has no involvement in racing, so where's the problem.
  20. My tuppence worth, to much water being applied to make sure track is a good4. Combination of long grass, artificial watering unevenly and a dry bed. Looks to me like its all man made. Once upon a time, tracks were what they were in summer. Horses that jarred up avoided them. Grey Way would never get a look in in todays over watered tracks.
  21. Sad state of affairs. The officials running Auckland should hang their heads in shame. Auckland needs to go the way of Wanganui. This sort of carry on was once common back in the day. Well remember pulling my dogs out at venues such as QE11 and goat tracks such as Chertsy. Once got a years ban from Chertsy for pulling my dogs out on a rock hard track. Rest of the trainers carried on only for many dogs to get injured where they finally had to abandon the meeting after several more races with many injured. Same with QE11. Had the favourite in box 1 for the Sockburn Cup then worth $5000, but had no hesitation pulling my dog out along with the rest of the team because of an unsafe track. Those that continued to race were they greedy ones, and many went home with injured or dead dogs. I blame first and foremost those trainers that do not have the guts to do the right thing when its obvious something is wrong with the track. Just pack your dogs up and get the f#ck out of there when presented with a substandard track. F#ck the STIPES, they are shitbags that wouldn't know sweet fanny adam, use your own common sense, and do not let greed get the better of you, respect your animals. Rant over.
  22. 1- 2 # 9 2- 7 # 4 3- 3 # 5 4- 4 # 7 5- 5 # 7 6- 1 # 2 7- 4 # 5 8- 3 # 8 9- 1 # 2 10- 3 # 4 11- 3 # 5 12- 3 # 10 13- 1 # 2
  23. Weir was railroaded, pure and simple. Top trainer whom officials were out to get one way or another.
  24. Have to laugh when I hear talk of Long Covid. It could not be more from the truth, the reality is, its Long Vax, and is only a problem or those that took the carrots.
  25. Top marks Steve for answering us keyboard warriors. It is refreshing to get the trainers perspective. The dog in question obviously has stacks of speed as it displayed in making up a ton of ground before losing interest and taking the leading dog out. All trainers get dogs like this and its heartbreaking knowing they could be anything, but alas, unless their heart is in it, all the ability in the world is not going to win races. In days gone by, trainers would use methods that are unacceptable in todays world to straighten them out, and even this failed most of the time. Your team is going so well, and the Goldstars have really come of age in the last couple of seasons, especially in stamina events. I use to say, the last dog you want on your back is a Cleeve runner, you can now add a Goldstar. But back to the topic, and my personal view is, nonies or fighters denigrate the reputation of the kennel or breeder in the long term, and time is better spent concentrating on those that have their heart in the right place, hence the GAP comment. PS, I saw the race, but had no bet in it. Cheers.
