I am 100% with Israel on this one. It appears to me that Rugby Australia consider quoting Bible verses in public a greater crime, than gouging opponents eyes, kicking pregnant women, beating people to a pulp late at night, and exposing themselves in porn movies without the permission of the aggrieved party. Israel is not guilty of any offense as far as I am concerned. He has done know more than preach in public, something that is common on street corners and other public spaces. I find it really annoying that the prize money that they are competing for is not included. All the overseas sites have it. The newspapers have it, the old site had it, so why the fook does this new website not have it. I would of thought this is crucial information about the merits of the race. 3 points I would like to make. 1st the article is exactly correct. Imprinting as I call it has been well known for 30 yrs. I can expand on that, but do not have the time at present. The second point is, it has been downloaded off the internet, probably originates from the kennel club USA or some place similar. My bet is the welfare officer stole it from Australia and just regurgitated for your consumption thereby proving she is doing a wonderful job. And the third point which the welfare officer fails to understand is, it has been written for normal run of the mill pooches, and is fundamentally incorrect for Greyhounds.

Meanwhile the Greyhound code is imploding, and the best they can come up with is socialization of pups. Forgive them for they know not what they do.

Do not think they need new evidence, they only need to say original hearing erred in Fact and Law. They may, that is the defense, decide the trial Judge did in their opinion, direct the jury wrong if jury trial. Or the Judge didn't allow certain evidence that the defense thought was crucial to their case. Good lawyers will come up with many reasons for appeal. It does not rely on new or fresh evidence.

Do not be surprised if this case is on going 1 year from now. Brendons first Court appearance will see the charges laid. I expect Brendons lawyer will seek a remand without plea to consider the charges. Their next appearance they will be expected to plea, but I bet dollars to donuts a further excuse will be found for a further remand. This will see a plea sometime later this year which will be not guilty. A date will then have to be found for a defended hearing, this will be sometime in the first half of 2020. If found guilty, then an appeal will go in and may be heard sometime in the second half of 2020. If that fails, then expect an appeal to the Supreme Court, and that will take it to 2021 and beyond. I may be entirely wrong, but thats how I see this panning out.

Agree, photo evidence on its own will carry no weight. It will require good creditable eye witness accounts to support photo evidence, and possibly forensic evidence such as DNA from bullring. Also phone records may prove useful. I feel the most damaging will be personal testimony from reliable witnesses.
