  1. Fair call , perhaps she could.
  2. Im not sure why you'd expect it to be given what they race for and the opportunities available to them. I reckon we have done well getting these horses over here.
  3. Meaning what? They still improve those fields , especially the Railway, any kiwi horses in the Railway you think could win an Aus G2 sprint?
  4. You'll know when I've passed 🫥
  5. Maybe got the Aussies here, great fields & should be a very enjoyable days racing.
  6. They've already chosen several of the wrong tracks , screwed them up or the screw ups pending they dont care.
  7. You be a bit worried if they weren't with all the $s being thrown at the night.
  8. I understand, but I thought the assessment was on turnover figures not the type of turnover. Those scenarios have little to do with total turnover in my view.
  9. What do you mean , turnover is turnover in total figures in my understanding?
  10. He would have to be a certainty for KM 3yo races?
  11. Kiwi 2yo G2 race should set him up for life @Chief Stipe , how much will he stand for $50k? Not like this crowd stand their speedy 2yo in NZ at any rate. Will he win the slipper ? Will he even bother to go? Qld 2yo G1?
  12. What does the industry over react to?
  13. Nothing is simple , never happen .
  14. Well found Hesi at good odds.
  15. Tangerine been a bit quiet in NZ to date over the carnival, must be due a big NY Day at Ellerslie? Hitting Phar Lap Raceway today with some firepower, 6 runners probably get some SI form going there.
  16. Don't worry according to @Chief Stipe it's the trainers fault.
  17. Surely more than that there. I don't know why people are surprised there are decent sized crowds this time of year. Anything else would be unacceptable ,it's the only time most people attend.
  18. PS @Chief Stipe comments like yours show you are naive of the workings of the industry in NZ & you shouldn't comment. You obviously have no clue how poorly the industry in this country is run. Absolutely delusional!
  19. Exactly, yet another example of the fantasy NZ racing world @Chief Stipe lives in.
  20. Hard to tell , I can't remember who was running around against them. I think JC would have had a go at the slot , probably the one who could have done both.
  21. Isn't it sad we are talking about the slot race & not the Oaks or Derby. Is the Oaks on same day as slot race?
  22. Agree couldn't see a filly with that sort of brilliance getting an Oaks trip & @Chief Stipe is correct not many by that sire perform further than a mile. Anything in Aus likely to threaten her in slot race? Only missing the race through some unforseen circumstance can you see her not winning.
  23. Yes he was that price. If he wins the slipper he will certainly be a value buy. We can only hope SOS can get an Aus G1 2yo in his first crop.
  24. $380k what a bargain! Could he get a slipper winner??
  25. Enrico bolts in
