  1. Mamool Oscar Schindler Vinnie Roe Simenon Brown Panther countless examples, I lost futures $$ on them all.
  2. And countless examples of staying superstars coming to Aus and getting beaten, some of them grow a leg down under. Aus has the better sprinters the majority of the time.
  3. Divert attention away from the track issue.
  4. Reopen the lot!
  5. Is it though, I mean the ultimate?
  6. Why does it matter, the Euros can come down under and race them if they like.
  7. Top top horse, was really looking forward to seeing her in an Everest, but not to be .
  8. "Rinse & Repeat" significantly more embarrassing than other venues given the resources & advantages thrown this clubs way for several years now.
  9. Absolute joke Curious. Anyone with any knowledge in NZracing knows its all a rigged fiasco at any rate. A leadership award for Waikato Racing Club as an extra award , I can't stop laughing at the utter stupidity of it all and if you know anything about the relationships amongst leadership in both capacities you'll understand why they got that.
  10. I don't agree, what we need is sensible decision making around tracks, Auckland doesn't need a track in town, one thats a pain in the B to get to & fro from. What we really need in this country is tracks we can race on and the infrastructure built around them, doesn't matter where they are (preferably away from town centres though) , the clown show thinks we need tracks where the population is (so they can push the Grand Flop Tour and other pointless ventures) , unfortunately with urbanisation of areas nowadays that only adds to the pressure on these resources, we need tracks we can race on that can have races televised on them, that participants can easily access, that are made for the horse not just for man and most importantly racing we can wager on!
  11. Don't worry give them time , they'll shift the blame & the industry will give them a get out of jail card for free because they are the chosen ones of NZracing.
  12. Why would they want to be bought into this Sh** Show, you can't blame them for not wanting to be effectively used and thrown on the heap afterwards (well thats NZTR plan) something thats going on across the country at several locations. The real reason NZ racing is unlikely to make it beyond a decade is the constant prevalence of incompetence & no accountability and responsibility from those in leadership roles within the industry. The NZ industry rewards incompetence and in some cases even encourages it, the stakes & Entain involvement are a big smoke screen. Average off $100k races at Ellerslie will happen just through the sheer number of abandonments. Like another poster said , this is a 'HUGE' embarrassment for the sport in NZ, was the track rushed to be put together for Karaka Millions too early?
  13. $10m fullstop. pffft whatever , the fools are lapping it up though.
  14. That certainly may have been the case, however nowadays the decisions are more than obvious from a financial and operational perspective but those in charge are not making decisions based on anything but latent bias!
  15. I can just see the studs ignoring the Sales races in pedigrees when comes to buying stock, stallions & for the sales etc .... not!
  16. You dribble so much garbage T4Eva I don't know how you breath. Too many tracks and half of them are currently closed. As for a consensus from big trainers well they just spout the company line and try not to upset the establishment, waste of time listening to them if you want the real lay of the land and most of them can't see beyond the end of their own horse truck anyway, so take everything they say with the inherent bias it is laced with!
  17. Just another version of the KM, we will soon have the breeders screaming out for blacktype status for these new races & they'll probably get it. Can NZ Blacktype be discounted anymore, answer to that is probably yes.
  18. Sloppy reporting , surely he doesn't think she is a kiwi bred , you just about couldn't get more Aussie bred
  19. Everything is common in explaining away misdemeanors with this lot .
  20. Crooked as a bent stick, both have history in this area. Whats more alarming is why its taken so long to release this confirmed info, these guys are the poster boys for NZ at The Quokka all over trackside and have been given a horse to train for the TAB racing club ... an embarrassment to the industry.
  21. Your "fanboying" has become nauseating!
  22. Appalling programming for an Easter weekend , this is why the sport loses the general public they just have no idea and they'll sit back on their laurels and blame the fact they have to pay public holiday rates etc. but clueless comes to mind.
  23. Geez I'll take a moderately bred one thats performed as well as that any day of the week. You talk about it like finding one that can be winning 4 races is easy CS....headsup it ain't. You need to get your trainers licence and get a real feel for how difficult and challenging the sport is, I think you might pop your fan boy balloon with the TA team a fair bit if you did.
  24. and then when they are done with them kick the ones who have been looking after it for the benefit of the industry to the kerb with typical contemptuous attitude prevailing at NZTR.
