  1. Love Summer Racing .... The Passion , the beauty, the glory and the abandonments !!!
  2. It's gotten so bad now that no one really blinks an eye anymore when a meeting in NZ is abandoned, 2 this week going well.
  3. BS got it sorted don't worry, well his ticket home that is!
  4. Incredible we are now in a world where we actually have to worry about this things , through no fault of our own.
  5. You won't have to do much to work towards that, they are doing and have been doing a fine job themselves!

    W Pinn

Haven't followed this what did Pinn do wrong?
  7. This explains what appears imminent , I just can't see why people are so naive to all of this?
  8. I couldn't find it either.
  9. Very true , but they all offer great value for their functions ....
  10. Very true , but you know by now everything is done for 4 or 5 stables from the Waikato
  11. I guess they all copy each other , she looks a good fit for that role you'd have to say.
  12. Which video is that? Or what was the gist of it?
  13. They aren't afraid of anything, its yet again just another copy paste exercise as I've said before they specialise in so it looks as though they are contributing something. I do think both organisations have underestimated their customer base on this issue and there could be a bumpy road ahead, fascinating to sit back and observe.
  14. Bought to you by the same copy paste delinquents who haven't been able to fix anything or bring anything innovative or useful into the sport in all their time at the helm , so we shouldn't be expecting much. I'd love to say things will get worse before getting better but they look like they are going from worse to worser! Still love to see the betting figures on these surfaces, hopefully they'll bring them out soon to show me I'm totally wrong about them.
  15. NZTR update NZTR Covid Update NZTR 24 November 2021 As the government announced earlier this week, vaccine passes will become part of our lives from Friday, 3 December. This is when the COVID Protection Framework, more commonly referred to as the Traffic Light System, will come into play. Our first race meeting to be run under this System will be the Canterbury JC’s twilight meeting on Friday, 3 December. Just how many people will be able to attend will not be clear until the government indicates which “colour” the Canterbury region will enter the system. While 1.1 million of us obtained the My Covid Pass online in the first week of its availability, it is worth noting that the process can be different and take a little more time for foreign nationals. As we are all aware the New Zealand racing industry is made up of a hugely diverse range of nationalities, and those without a NZ passport, birth certificate or driver’s licence, will need to call 0800 222 478 to request a pass. It is recommended that employers with foreign-born staff who are expected to attend race meetings ensure they are aware of the steps they need to ensure they have their My Covid Pass and do not leave this until the last minute. The law change required to introduce the Traffic Light System and the use of vaccination passes will be passed under urgency this week. NZTR expects to issue a further update once the government releases more detail and once we have worked through this with our clubs.
  16. Yes that's our problem here in NZ, no concern about the performance just concerned if they were a good guy. I think that person may be in the Owners Assn so says it all really.

Seems a lot of Passed Ins. Also the sale average might look a lot different without a number of the Aussie Breds & Sacred Falls.
  18. Well at that cost to the industry it should be resucing the cost of areas like mare returns, naming etc in a very siginificant manner - well you would want to think so, but will they let go of the money spinner those areas are?
  19. Yep you'd have to think so. I just love how they have a habit of giving themselves a pat of the back for soing things the industry has been suggesting for sometime , like starters incentives. Average field size will be an anomaly , they are too naive to realise that. That has been assisted by the Covid situation and reduction in racing venues, but breeders and owners are racting to that just look at the potential foal crops coming through.
  20. Probably the most dissapointing appointment we have had in years, can't think any positive to come out of it. Has dived and destroyed parts of the industry and is off on his bike before it all really catches fire!
  21. It's keeping with the transparent and independent focus obviously.
  22. True , don't think this one leaving before the inadequacies are found out though. Perhaps the comment on racing knowledge is because they already know who the new CEO is.
  23. Wow now I understand why the advert was written in the manner it was, not enough cadence in that company profile if you ask me. But then I wouldn't know becuase I don't have the systems and processes or the skillset for that manner to provide anyone with any confidence in what I am writing. Not sure anyone here is capable of making a calculated intervention that would allow me to greater productivity and some sort of positive commercial outcome either and most certainly no added value!
