Surely the NZ Oaks is one of the only true G1 contests left, most of the time seems to throw up a few very good horses in a decent sized field.

It can't be far away , the overall standard in NZ has reached that level so its only a matter of time.

My concern with this type of stuff is the people they bring in are likely to know little about racing , so you get a similar situation to what we have with regards to the running of the sport itself , it's something I would have thought needs to be looked after from within.

More copy cat clap trap from this lot, incapable of coming up with anything even remotely or vaguely related to the actual product or even improving elements of it i.e programming, calendar, stakes distribution, better utilisation of assets , reducing costs etc etc etc - they just copy and put their name on it. Can't be long until they have some inclusion awareness campaign and change their name to ATR! - In short just embarrassingly hopeless!

I don't agree with every thing he writes, but he has got BS accurately assessed . I have spoken with many in the industry who wonder what he has done since being here , what he has done that is positive I mean.

No that hasn't changed, it is more BGP than Racing.com unfortunately for me just too much talk about their punting club or whatever it is, I just wanna listen to the races or a trainer etc. I know the simplicity of such a request will never likely return but one can dream I guess.

One thing from yesterday they need to work on , is to stop cutting out the race call to celebrate a punting win or talk about their punts, not sure if other feel the same but I simply don't care about their punts but I do want to hear where the horse I backed has finished or what's running on etc!
