  1. The ones running the sport don't understand it either, be honest the entire sport in this country is a complete and utter shambles!
  2. Unfortunately they are that silly that they will, only a matter of time.
  3. That is the way TA operate and I guess the Stallion advert quote from the jock sounds better coming from OP than JL if the horse wins ?
  4. A month or two in good weather usually helps.
  5. I'm not sure how anyone could watch any of our local channels anymore, I find them all unwatchable drivel.
  6. For the quality of animal they have I'm surprised to see that Stat they normally also move them on if they don't perform. Could be a staff problem , no decent riders or something with covid?
  7. Anyone like a few of the lighter weights ? Star of Tralee, Floating Artist or Great House?
  8. Both of them, you mean you got the first two of what looks like many.
  9. Yep they certainly don't think things through do they, could be a significant impact on the industry.
  10. This is what this entity is good at - Copy and Paste management, forget the million other things that need sorting.
  11. Agree , absolutely loath Tauranga and never have a bet there, is like the AWT to me just cannot bring myself to bet there.
  12. Jungle Magnate for me
  13. Someone more in the know than me, let me know what this system does? Is this a strange email to be sending out about Testing? NZTR Single National System External Participants Update Background As you will be aware NZTR is currently undertaking an enormous IT project, where it is transitioning from the existing Racing Management System (RMS) to the newly purchased licence Single National System (SNS) from Racing Australia. Testing is commencing NZTR has received the SNS Release 1.0 from Racing Australia and begun testing. This Release includes the first developed customisations with NZ data. A thorough and efficient testing process is an integral part of ensuring NZTR’s existing business processes can be conducted successfully in SNS. As the majority of the customisations received to date relate to internal business processes, NZTR anticipates external testing and subsequent training will get underway in 2022. External participants can expect to receive regular updates in the interim. NZTR thanks external participants for their patience as this process is worked through. How will testing work? NZTR’s Test Lead has developed test scripts with step-by-step instructions, and NZTR’s subject matter experts (SMEs) are using these to test SNS. Once these test scripts have been performed and resulted, the results are discussed with the NZ Project team, and reviewed daily with Racing Australia. This testing with SMEs is expected to take several months as further releases are received. If you have any feedback, questions or concerns, please contact Michelle Dando, SNS Training & Engagement Specialist on michelle.dando@nztr.co.nz Kind regards, Michelle Dando SNS Training & Engagement Specialist
  14. I'll go for a bit of an Exoboom @$21s
  15. I also like a number of the initiatives, but these have been suggested for years and ignored for years .If they had implemented half of them when needed we may have been in a better space than what we are now, racing has lost so much of its lustre I can see many not caring about the significance of them. i.e. the Country Cups - what country cups they are killing off the majority of country racing or making them race somewhere else. A Champions day not sure how that will work, won't that mean they are just pulling significant races away from somewhere else to do that? Not sure and most of it is never really thought out or discussed well enough to think of the implications of any of the decisions made, i.e. Auck Cup etc. I know that was an ARC initiative but the dates have to ok it also.
  16. Makes for some interesting reading and more of the same or in their case copied from someone else, but I'd have thought one thing they would want to be particularly careful about now and in the future would be making rash decisions around venues, given the environment we are living in and likely to be in for a considerable amount of time. Anyone see somethign they particularly like? or new? https://loveracing.nz/OnHorseFiles/Downloads/NZTR-Directions-Paper_FINAL-VERSION.pdf
  17. Am I the only one who thinks the horse has already bolted? https://loveracing.nz/RaceInfo/34737/Meeting-News-Article.aspx
  18. Divided amongst them all.
  19. Two absolute Warriors for mine. FOO 2006 one of the most underrated ever, check out where he came from and his finish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-ziJvyLasE Northerley probably didn't get the respect he served cause he beat one of the all time great mares twice in the race.
  20. Anyone seriously surprised? They surely care so much for NZracing they'd do it for free , like most other clubs in NZ surely?
  21. Dalasan in a boil over!
  22. Isn't that always the case if you don't have rich owners???
  23. How about the race of the day , the G1 from Hastings, surely PDF?
  24. The Chosen One for me, really liked how he has improved with each run this campaign. The race of the day got to be The Everest slowly but surely turning into a must watch race, Masked Crusader for me!
