Four (4) mms of sand was asked by the Club to be applied. The contractor spread up to 3 cms of sand in certain places. Remedial work was completed on the inside 12 metres of the course proper after the May 19 meeting. With the rail back to a True position for the next meeting on July 7, the Club is confident the racing surface will be of a good standard”.
