Why the F@#% when you click the pending bets Tab do you then have to click another box to view pending bets. It adds more time to what should be a quick process. It defies logic. And the pending bets is a pain in the arse. In the old system when clicking activity report you could see all your live bets pop up and just scroll through them. Now you have to click each individual bet to see the details. Anyone putting on a lot of bets will be pissed off trying to see what they bet on.

Yet they will ask the stupid questions like why did Queen Bee Bardon seemingly improve from her run at Omakau. You are brain dead if you can not see it was obvious after getting beaten at Omakau against the open class pacers when driven with a 25sec first quarter in a race run in a 1:54 mile rate with a last 800m in 55.9, compared to her win yesterday in a 2:02 mile rate where she did no work early and jogged home against much weaker opposition in 58. Stop asking the stupid questions and come down harder on serial breakers and drivers who do not give favourites every chance to win!

I note on the top of nominations for Wyndham Withdrawals close today at 2.00pm. PLEASE NOTE: Race 8 will be split. Also, owing to the TAB system changeover this meeting will start earlier than usual. Looks like the new tab system kicks in on Sunday. Whats are the chances of NOT getting your bets on at some stage on that day of racing!

Even if they moved to Australia they would still come and raid our Group races, just like they raid Australia. I am surprised the Emma Stewart barn does not send horses to NZ for the big money races. In my opinion they are the only stable capable of giving the All Stars a run for their money in Australasia.

No I think Neil Brady has the parked record (could be around 100 races in a row). Mind you I can think of several other contenders over the years.

One of the hardest stables to follow. The horses have the ability but 90% chance to be unlucky and blocked or running home late. The other 10% either a hard run or an easy win. You never know which one you are going to get.

Seems short at first glance, I wish I could see the Ashburton trial it won by 5 lengths. Maybe it lost 100m at the start and still won who knows.

I like Missie Castleton at 2.90 a place as well.

I was pleased to see a short price on that and some others. it meant something had to open over the odds and Matai Minky opened over the odds for mine.

If nothing moves in or out then the odds are close to what the public think the odds should be. Either that or there is no liquidity in their markets which is a possibiity.

Get into those big fields at Rangiora on Sunday. Should be some decent dividends on offer at that meeting. They can not have 16 horses short it defies the rules of mathematics.

Everybody has access to information these days video replays, trial videos, sectional times so it is much easier for punters to spot previous good runs, unlucky horses hence the dividends are shorter and horses you perceived to be at good value are now spotted by everybody and are not. Add to that the TAB will almost certainly have inside information from industry participants to further decrease your value and the end result is a frustrated Brodie posting 10 times a day how the odds are so shite.

By offering odds more than they should be is increasing turnover but stifling profit even more if punters are cleaning up on the juicy odds!!

Grass tracks always much better racing. Better odds, bigger fields, one stable does not dominate, even the top drivers can not control the races on grass from the front. In saying that the higher graded races still lacking horse flesh even on grass. Geraldine Cup only 8 runners. Methven green mile only 6.

Or giving him a job! I could be getting triple odds. Princess Tiffany could be at $4.00 tonight if Brodie was the bookie. Those $5.00 place outsiders would be kept pretty short though!

Not very often you can get a good opening price on an Orange driven runner. Same with Dexter when he was still here. Their opening odds are always half what they would be with anyone else driving them.

Can we get Brodie a job as a TAB bookie. Would have cleaned up as he would have opened that one at $50 ?
