  1. I would bet my left nut Chicago Bull does not show. The Chase Auckland story was a beat up to me. Never really seemed likely, even if everything went perfectly, even though the stable weren't discounting it. They are generally very conservative with their four-year-olds, Lazarus and Il Vicolo the exceptions.
  2. What are you quoting that story for. Her (Gibson) effort last week was so bad and inaccurate ATC demanded a retraction. Canam were sacked for being slow and useless. And they were the secondary firm on site. Ganellen are building two of the three structures and they have come ahead well. ATC are guilty of not sacking Canam sooner and the question has to be asked why.
  3. Godber doesn't dish out the sentences. But he does need to go.
  4. this whole thing is shambolic. Now it's just what it was a few years ago, only worse. The handicapping sub-committee needs to stop listening to biased trainers.
  5. Come on son, own your words please. "Some might back Blair at 7 but they are probably dreaming if they think they are going to collect!"
  6. You are right about Teaz and Cross, but a bit hard on Guerin. He's not afraid to say what he thinks. Didn't associate the Whale with that same proclivity.
  7. Very lucky he didn't get suspended after the last at Forbury last week. He could be heard screaming in the Stewards room.
  8. That market is completely absurd. Why are we even talking about this. Chicago Bull is a sucker bet - Hall will never come... and if he does, Addington is a lot bigger than Gloucester Park.
  9. Just thought back to memorable iron horses from the past 20 years, plus Idle Scott from the 80s/90s of course. I thought of at least a dozen others that turned out to be 170-190 starts. Some things stick with you, I guess...
  10. Not the best example. There were ten horses eligible for this race that went in the South of the Bombay restricted race (as you would). There were also a number in the junior drivers' race too. Glenn Ford, New York Rain and Naholo weren't eligible for either race (being 3yos that didn't race at Cambridge or on the grass). I'm not denying there is a shortage of horses, however.
  11. Has been sold and is heading to the North Island.
  12. Alexy isn't even the current racehorse with the most starts. 230 - Jaspers Blue Jean 224 - Motu Speedy Star 219 - Idle Scott 219 - Danke 212 - Stormy Loch 211 - Alexy 200 - Moment Of Truth There is bound to be others...
