That's his style Downplay the serious stuff Up play the frivolous stuff to suit

He's done alright Expert climate scientist - NZ had its warmest year ever Expert Biochemist - year 1 in Vet degree Feelaar - should win the Melbourne Cup Political scientist supreme - coalition falling to bits RC - going like a house on fire

Well they couldn't could they, and the Minister had to take the extreme step of appointing an outsider to sort it out. That's about as cot case as it gets
-
Might be something to do with freedom of choice and democracy, a luxury we take for granted.
-
What you guys are neglecting, is that NZ First will disappear into thin air once Winston retires ie. no 5%, no elected members So I presume a lot of the 5-6% he pulled, will migrate, probably to National, which may just get them to 50%. And we all know what little regard the Nats had for Racing in 9 years, so Racing can expect no favours from future Governments.......they could of course get their own act together
-
Firstly, 3 admissions, I only bet with the TAB, secondly, horror of horrors, I mainly like to do the all up place betting mainly with faves, starting with $200, I only bet for a bit of excitement. The only other bet type is $50 win. so Rock On was good. The TAB cramp their FF place odds on faves so much, 1.15, 1.20 etc, that it is not worth it. The problem is, if you go with the tote and usually get a better price(Melody Belle), then that limits you to the same meeting. You must go with a Multi to select across different meetings. With regard to what you say above, many times the TAB price faves at cramped place FF odds, and the horse misses a place. But as you say, very few would have been on at 1.15, so they are not actively trying to entice you and actually act like bookmakers
-
For so long the TAB had Melody Belle at $1.25 FF place. Anyone who put it in their multi's at that price, must feel hard done by, as it paid $1.70 on the tote. Poor effort on the TAB's part to offer such restrictive odds, very few would have taken anyway at that price
-
For once we agree, Nats have a real problem, and Judith Collins is not the answer to them polling higher. Who is?, well how long is a piece of string
-
None is right, but don't get me wrong, the effort is appreciated and it was not just for me. No regrets, I got a nice all up place bet in today, plus a nice collect off Rock On in the cup at Awapuni

Yes, commented on your other thread
-
Yes well done Barry, now all you need is Gift of Power to roll in
-
That was my point
-
Good luck, you would be better off putting a $10 all up or multi on your 3 selections, that way you get to keep a nice wad of cash if you win
-
I presume you'll be giving this good advice on the other channel

Classic, and I always wondered if you had a sense of humour

In the same boat, so come on you harness folk, get tipping, or you'll have to go back to the other site................ that's right, you can't
-
Well one thing I can pick that you guys will all pick, is that Melody Belle is way under, from that outside but one draw. But Volpe Veloce must then be slightly over(10/3) from virtually the same alley. Won this last year relatively easily when drawing 7 of 10, albeit, I think there was some rain on the track

Next you will be pricing Danny -
Always were idiots DB, the internet now gives them an easy way to have a say, that never existed 15 years ago

Looking like it's between the 3 class horses of the field, but what do I know, how about the BOAY 'pros' price the field
