  1. The judgement identifies/settles Precedent for future rule breakers. That to me is the best outcome of this case. Some may argue he has been made an example of but in the end it was HIM that broke the rules. Others now know what lies ahead if the try and wrought the system so from a deterrent point of view its no bad thing Greg
  2. I would not have thought the NZMTC would need approval from HRNZ to program a race series. A good idea though to offer Otago and Blenheim based horses a chance to come to town ,so to speak Greg
  3. Surely this is just a variation of the South of the Waitaki series introduced by McKenzie when he was running NZMTC. What has HRNZ got to do with it? Greg
  4. Possibly because in the example i pointed out it was HRNZ who made the decision as to which clubs race where. Given how little info comes from HRNZ and the quality of its board i'm not surprised by such stupidity. Winton must be over the moon by the decision to give them the nod for the so called "Long Course" over continuing to race harness at Gore. Im sure the big sponsor MLT wont be assisting either Gore or Wyndham harness clubs any time soon. Nett result is there for all to see Greg
  5. Incorrect Happy ,The codes decided where to race and which courses were no longer required. The Southland case is nothing but pure madness and once again shows how the codes are incapable of working together.. Forcing Wyndham and Gore harness to go to Invercargill will see its biggest sponsor pull the plug, 50K plus down the gurgler whilst giving races to Winton will see it become a single use track as gallops dont want it used . The only reason Winton is required by harness is because of its size as the powers at be consider Gore and Invercargill tracks to be basically the same. F ing madness but their you go. Greg
  6. So who was the former trainer he learnt part of his craft off?
  7. Is he the same person as ROBERT GEORGE McKAY BURROWS. If so a quick perusal of previous JCA cases produces some interesting info about his past Greg
  8. So in summary , according to the posts above all the industries woes are the fault of RITA, its board and CEO. Quite clearly ive got this all wrong? Greg
  9. Ask him or better still ask WP who is his boss. I suspect that the Racing bill received priority in the initial stages as that was the primary reason for RITA after Messara report. Further, no new board would walk in and make any type of major changes at op level until they knew the business they inherited and decided on the correct way forward for that business. Greg
  10. That suggests you know absolutely nothing about me. Its also your prerogative to bag RITA NZRB,NZTR and HRNZ on any forum that you can access. Go for it as im pretty sure no one with any real business experience restructures a business from the top down as you suggest. Also, if you had a business that received no income for 3 months what would the likely outcome be and what strategy would you use to resolve obvious cash flow issues?? Im picking the top table at RITA will be halved in the coming weeks as due process takes place and right sizing continues. Keep whinging and moaning as i personally find it amusing although im pretty sure it will have no take up by those running the show.
  11. Dean McKenzie to take interim executive role with NZ’s RITA 9 December 2019 The chairman of New Zealand’s Racing Industry Transition Agency (RITA) Dean McKenzie will take on the role of executive director once current chief executive John Allen steps down at the end of 2019. McKenzie will serve in the role until June 2020, meaning he will be in place as the New Zealand government shepherds the Racing Industry Bill into law, after which RITA will evolve into TAB NZ. This, RITA said, would ensure the transitional body “maintains the momentum of significant urgent reform required to revitalise racing, while providing continuity and stability in the management of the day to day activities of the TAB”. It would be an extension of the responsibilities McKenzie had taken on when he was appointed chair in July this year, RITA added. McKenzie will be supported by RITA chief operating officer Stephen Henry, who will take on additional operational responsibilities until the end of June next year. Facts Chief abound from above . So McKenzie has been CEO for 6 months and chair of RITA board for coming up a year. Big difference from your numbers but no doubt youll argue something different. Greg
  12. I have no idea, perhaps you could ask RITA Brent and come back to us as id be interested as well? Greg
  13. Just as you come across as someone who wants to bag RITA at every opportunity. I understand the BLAME game but surely you and others cant be taken seriously by attacking those who are restructuring the previous dysfunctional body who ran the business into insolvency. PS. I have no association with either NZRB or RITA or NZTR etc. I just like a bit of balance Greg
  14. Id say RITA have via Mc McKenzie have posted more info about the industry and finances in 7 months than Glenda John and co did in 3 years. Greg
  15. Unlike NZRB RITA have no obligation to produce half year report and i'd suggest they have far more important things to do. It would hardly be worth the paper it was written on given business changes and covid revenue effects during the period the report would have covered. Obviously it would not be positive in any shape our form but surely the mark of what progress RITA has made will be seen once code distribution takes place. Thats when you will see if next seasons stakes are held at this seasons level for starters Go for it Chief- attack Greg
  16. Well of course it is if your told confidentially.Did you ever think to listen? The Chief bailed on a bet that his number was correct re CEO salary or even close but then he is a guesser and loves to debate without facts on this occasion. As for salary i have passed a number on to another BOAY poster. In the fullness of time one of us will be right . whats your guess?. By all means keep having a crack at me , its what you do best and have done for ages without even getting close to a bullseye IMHO. Greg
  17. Its good to see him all in , thats the Brodie we all respect Greg
  18. Was it this one Ranga
  19. I thought so , your all talk and no action. Im not the one saying You said the above ,I have never made any comment re his salary . if you haven't got the balls to bet on your so called facts it says it all about you . Best back down ive seen in ages though. Case closed as your clearly all hat and no cattle so to speak Greg
  20. Im kinda in agreement with you and thanks for the endorsement. Great minds think alike.Haha
  21. Nope, your the big noter on here saying that you only do facts. Time to put your money where your mouth is and take me on re DM's CEO salary. You said Im saying that the records will show he isnt. How much do you want to bet??
  22. How much can i get on that your figure is incorrect re DM's CEO salary. It will come out in annual accounts which you like so we both have to wait for payout/settlement date. If you and others follow BDL rubbish you join a list of 100's not 1000's .Says it all
  23. It isnt but dont tell the nutters as they know better- not Greg
  24. I think i can do better than that but thanks for the offer. Greg
  25. Yep , the funds are being depleted by the day! Greg
