  1. Seems your sanctimony knows no bounds. You arrogantly assume because I have been critical of INCA that I don't believe dishonesty should be exposed. Have you considered that rather than ME not getting YOUR point or choosing to not consider it that you may not be making YOUR point not very well? Tell us all how does INCA give punters any confidence? A very flawed investigation that has so far made the RIU at best look incompetent or at worst corrupt. "Oh but they are doing SOMETHING", you say. And anyone who disagrees "doesn't get the point" or "doesn't want dishonesty investigated".
  2. You're a bit premature on the sanctimony! INCA hasn't exactly been a goldmine of convictions. More collateral damage than anything of substance.
  3. Oh Ok. I wouldn't expect Chris to understand. Especially as it differs from State to State.
  4. I'm not sure he is gullible - he just doesn't understand. To be gullible he would have to have had someone tell him what he seems to believe. So I'm hoping there isn't anyone with any credibility out there telling him crap that he believes.
  5. State or Federal? How much? My understanding is much more is taken from the industry in terms of taxes than is given. The reverse is true in NZ where the industry doesn't operate on a level playing field with other businesses.
  6. All The Aces - are you a trainer or an owner?
  7. Presumably he spoke to the same two trainers that the other groups did. But duplicity reigns.
  8. The "consultation" numbers were referred to in the draft calendar release. If you ask around you'll probably find that the question about the Guineas wasn't asked to more.
  9. Two of the 54 trainers that were consulted by NZTR/RITA were not asked about shifting the Guineas. One North Island one South Island.
  10. Perhaps they could live stream the Board meeting?
  11. I would have thought that the Government as part of its $80 billion spend up would have broadened the availability of free flu vaccinations.
  12. I think you are wrong Brodie. The Flu season will be worse because of the Covid-19 restrictions. The normal vaccination process hasn't happened. Also Covid-19 isn't going away when it reemerges during the flu season we will have a double hit.
  13. Depends on the rest of the book in terms of what they TAB won or lost. However I would imagine liquidity isn't that good at the moment. So I'm picking the TAB had a loss. Saville needs to be asked questions. I've heard lots of rumours that the dealing with the bookies is more about "who you know."
  14. It seems MH is Michael House. How do we know that? Well the little fella over there posts a picture of a rat and then straight away a long inactive account with the name Michael House starts posting. 2 posts from that account in total and they were yesterday! Supposedly he joined in 2008! Geez how could you believe anything that gets posted over there!
  15. So the response from GRNZ and RIU should be just as swift and for the owners.
  16. How's that? Isn't this one worse?
  17. In my opinion it is the equivalent of the Darren Weir saga in OZ gallops. The GRNZ and RIU should step up and revoke the license and owners should walk their dogs to another trainer.
  18. Has anyone seen the post on the cartoon dog channel where head dog bans someone for what is supposedly defamatory? I don't know how to copy it here but can anyone explain what is defamatory about the post?
  19. What you said "it was irrelevant in assessing his performance"? Geez there must be some light there somewhere Thomass.
  20. Where did I say he didn't need them? I just said they are irrelevant in assessing his performance against the rest of the field. The fact is blinkers have a different impact on different horse. Calms some excites others. Do you wear blinkers Thomass?
  21. The fact is no one really knows as they have different impacts on different horses and over different distances. The point with Redzel is he has always worn them so in terms of assessing his performance against the Everest field they are irrelevant.
  22. From that post you obviously haven't got a clue what blinkers do on a horse.
  23. So all "hand reared" horses should wear blinkers when racing?
  24. Noodlum

    Methven

How can you say that after one race of maiden trotters? Which looked more like a maiden gallop than a trot!!!!
  25. I'm surprised that no TAB bookies have caught up in this.
