Has Rogie lost the plot or is he relenting to Owner Pressure?
All The Aces replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Galloping Chat
How anyone could price up Aalaalune up at $18.00 or anywhere near that price truly astounds me. I felt sure the TAB bookies had left a 1 off the front. Then when ridden forward out of the gates they could have added two 11s in front of the $18.00s offered. A fool and their money is often parted is the saying. . . . What will they do with her. . . . take her back to maiden's, ride her properly for a soft kill and restore some confidence in her is what I would be doing. Being slaughtered like she was yesterday in a race she should never lined up in was just crazy. The owner had another well backed horse from the same stable race today at Te Aroha, shot out to a big lead and compounded. More karma. -
Has Rogie lost the plot or is he relenting to Owner Pressure?

The horse didn't win at Ruakaka so the float came a couple of days later picked her up along with Mr Universe. Ridden upside down today and finished second last. Was just some karma coming to fruition to be fair and I hope it stays that way. -
I had heard that he was knocked off balance by a horse and then hitting his head upon falling. Richard suffered a brain bleed was in an induced coma and when brought out of it earlier this week began fitting so they put him back in an induced coma once again until next week.

Sadly he is not too good at all. Keep fingers crossed for him.

Don't forget that she is also nominated for the Cox Plate ? -
Can you confirm Thomass? Keep you on your toes I suspect. ?

Until you posted: "Stick that in your arse Thomass, first 3 home all rated superbly by me, Kokanee super run.

Not bad Bazza, a couple of placegetters. As an aside do you go around various forums putting up different tips? Whatever floats your boat I suppose. BTW how would you know if I have any clue how to rate winning chances. Just more arrant arrogance on your part and complete guesswork. I don't feel the need to put anything up on various websites but rather quietly have a bet, it may be only two or three a week. FYI I had two bets yesterday, backing two locals at New Plymouth who both won. No fuss, no self adulation rather just quietly going about my business. This thread only came about as a result of your rant on the other channel. If you weren't so full of it nothing would have been said.

As I said a long time between drinks and even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. ?

Evening Mardi I never had a bet in the race so never had an opinion. Besides I am not the one trying to prove anything. The initial post here was in direct response to Bazza's inane gloat and crass poke at Thomas. Bazza backed two horses who never finished the race, claimed he was a super star and told Thomas to stick it where the sun don't shine. For all we know Thomas could have backed Lacustre which would make Bazza look even more stupid. Bazza has tried demonstrating two different betting systems this year both of which showed big losses, failing miserably and he canned them. The two bets he had in the Pakuranga Hunt Cup was just more of the same rubbish. Bazza was the one shooting his mouth off at Thomas when in fact he had little to shout about in the race. He lost his money on the race and somehow wanted to claim success. If he eventually gets it right and backs a winner then he may well get congratulations or a well done but on what I have seen so far it will be a long time between drinks and an even longer way back to square one. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then so maybe there is hope. Yet despite all this he rates himself so highly, but I have as yet to see anything special from him in order to join in with him in his self adulation. I merely look on with amusement to date. Come on Bazza when are you going to actually step up to the plate and provide a masterclass for us. It appears from what I have read here that Thomas has actually done so in the past and made a handsome profit. Bazza is yet to hit the dartboard.

Pull the other Bazza. Superbly rated by you. You backed two runners neither of whom finished. ? I'd hate to see you have a bad result!!
-
Bazza on the other channel must have hit the bottle early today. States : "I have backed Zamora at $51 & Mr Enthusiastic at $18." Then states after the race "Stick that in your arse Thomass, first 3 home all rated superbly by me, Kokanee super run. Zamora is pulled up DNF and Mr Enthusiastic fell on the hill. Whatever Bazza's on can I have some. #*%#* it must be good stuff!! Like to see your face when you go to collect Bazza ?

Ellipses - why we find Thomaas so infuriating!
All The Aces replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Galloping Chat
The main protagonists being Hesi & Pete I would hazard a guess? aka: Krusty The Clown & his sidekick Sideshow Bob. ? -
5 trial days in last year and four race dates. Still hardly excessive by any means.
-
Not sure about that statement in regard to Taupo with only four race meetings a year.
-
Is there a problem with the 800m area at Taupo? Yesterday's stipe report Following the running of this race a track inspection was carried out by Stipendiary Stewards, trainers, riders and Club representatives after it was reported that JAKAMA JILL had lost its footing making the bend near the 800 metres, with the decision being made to abandon the meeting due to safety concerns. Three races abandoned in April 2017 stipe report After the race a number of riders expressed concern reporting that their mounts had lost their footing going into the bend near the 800 metres. After meeting with all riders an Inspection Committee undertook a track inspection of the area of concern finding a number of slip marks being apparent with the remainder of the meeting being abandoned at 1.50 pm due to unsafe track conditions. Both meetings showery with slow 7 rated tracks.

Chief. 20 hours you have had this up and four people agree with you and four don't. Not a great reaction by anyone's standards. As Meghan states in the song.…."You gotta let it go." ? -

"Don't really care".…a very wishy washy ill defined option. " No" is a far more definitive option.and with decisive authority. The answer to your poll is NO!!!!! Not at all.definitely not.naddah -

Where is the NO option. For those of us with enough comprehension who don't find it irritating, infuriating and/or difficult to read . The poll is so biased it's irritating and infuriating.…. ? -

So best to ignore your pricing is what you are saying Curious. You don't care if you get them badly wrong. Point taken. ? -
ELLERSLIE starts DOG RACING?? That DESPERATE??
All The Aces replied to Thomass's topic in Galloping Chat
Curious was a mile off Mardigras in his assessment. Not even close. Compare your pricing and his for the race. Chalk and cheese. A least some criticism may make him lift him game. ? -

Don't know about you Chief but how could anybody with a few clues rate Endless Drama at $40.00 and Te Akau Shark at $18.00. He rated Melody Belle at $2.30. Then as second equal elects had Authentic Paddy and Consensus at $10.00. Lunacy at it's finest!! Authentic Paddy did run third in the race last year and tries his heart out but he is a 10yo now and how in God's name could one rate Consensus over 1200m on a wet track, well that one defies all logic. They finished second last and third last respectively btw. -

All The Aces replied to curious's topic in Galloping Chat
On Saturday he priced Endless Drama at $40.00!!! (Even had Te Akau Shark at $18.00) A horse who had finished third in the G1 Stradbroke at his last start and who had trialed impressively going into the race. $40 yeah right!!! Pftt. To be fair he did rate The Gordonian in the Winter Classic as overs as did everyone else bar one when rating the race as the bookies were miles out on that one. However as they say even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Verry Flash $35.00 and Endless Drama $40.00 Wish he was putting them up on Betfair. ? -
