  1. Well Freda it is the Sprinter-Miler Award. The last time I looked the Stewards is a G3 race so I fail to see any relevance in picking that race out. Melody Belle won did win the G2 Foxbridge Plate over 1200m and did run a great 3rd in the G1 Railway. She also won four G1 races two at 1400m and two at 1600m. (not to mention a fifth G1 at 2000m) There couldn't be any other outcome in the result, she was an emphatic winner.
  2. Well they are chasing their tails with the current trivia question. (yawn)
  3. Which makes you wonder how hell the stable won the award category concerned?
  4. True. That probably is a weird one. I had to look up what Isola Racing Stables was just now. After doing so the word "Bizarre" seems more appropriate. ?
  5. He beat three home at Ellerslie on Saturday in what was his 53rd start at Ellerslie.
  6. Went pretty much as expected.
  7. See how much brighter we are over here. Less than hour to get the correct answer. It takes days over there. You are on to it Freda. ?
  8. Who weighs 102kgs and has ridden a Melbourne Cup winner?
  9. Atlanta Peach's form is alright on dead tracks and barring his last start which he had an excuse for on a heavy track, I thought it very strange to say he had no chance dismissing him completely from going any good. He couldn't have won any easier really. Was there a post race interview with the trainer?
  10. She can go and get stuffed!! ?
  11. Come on Thomass would like your thoughts on this one. More swerve and sidesteps than Christian Cullen in a sevens match.
  12. At least you showed some common sense. Yet three of the other six had her rated $10.00, $15.00 & $28. . . really!!!!!
  13. Slow alright. Still took two hours for one of them to come up with the correct answer ?;; Counsel
  14. Has to be egg all over the face after the pre-comments that it had absolutely no chance of winning.
  15. There are those struggling with PJ's? quiz on the other channel as they probably aren't as bright as us over here as evidenced in other threads re punting assessments etc. ? Should I try and Counsel them?
  16. How anyone could price up Aalaalune up at $18.00 or anywhere near that price truly astounds me. I felt sure the TAB bookies had left a 1 off the front. Then when ridden forward out of the gates they could have added two 11s in front of the $18.00s offered. A fool and their money is often parted is the saying. . . . What will they do with her. . . . take her back to maiden's, ride her properly for a soft kill and restore some confidence in her is what I would be doing. Being slaughtered like she was yesterday in a race she should never lined up in was just crazy. The owner had another well backed horse from the same stable race today at Te Aroha, shot out to a big lead and compounded. More karma.
  17. The horse didn't win at Ruakaka so the float came a couple of days later picked her up along with Mr Universe. Ridden upside down today and finished second last. Was just some karma coming to fruition to be fair and I hope it stays that way.
  18. I had heard that he was knocked off balance by a horse and then hitting his head upon falling. Richard suffered a brain bleed was in an induced coma and when brought out of it earlier this week began fitting so they put him back in an induced coma once again until next week.
  19. Sadly he is not too good at all. Keep fingers crossed for him.
  20. Don't forget that she is also nominated for the Cox Plate ?
  21. Can you confirm Thomass? Keep you on your toes I suspect. ?
  22. Until you posted: "Stick that in your arse Thomass, first 3 home all rated superbly by me, Kokanee super run.
  23. Not bad Bazza, a couple of placegetters. As an aside do you go around various forums putting up different tips? Whatever floats your boat I suppose. BTW how would you know if I have any clue how to rate winning chances. Just more arrant arrogance on your part and complete guesswork. I don't feel the need to put anything up on various websites but rather quietly have a bet, it may be only two or three a week. FYI I had two bets yesterday, backing two locals at New Plymouth who both won. No fuss, no self adulation rather just quietly going about my business. This thread only came about as a result of your rant on the other channel. If you weren't so full of it nothing would have been said.
  24. As I said a long time between drinks and even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. ?
