  1. I know you can have a ''wild night'' in ''Vienna'', you do too.
  2. if you're betting there you're nuts anyway, unless you're in the ''know''.
  3. Just a quick note to wish you all a Merry Christmas. We've lost some great people this year, so lets think of their families and friends during our 'happy times'...... Hope you own, train, ride, breed or punt lots of winners and enjoy this lovely time of the year. Hug the one's you're with! Cheers Joe.
  4. I thought the riderless horse went terrific, great judge of pace and put itself right in the race ......you think?
  5. Doesn't the stipe in charge press a red button?.......that activates a series of flashing red lights in the back straight warning jocks to pull up, or is that technology too expensive for NZ?.......ffs........they're there in case the men on white horses are busy with an incident in the home straight or around the bend.........hey Sharrock, call the electricians.
  6. It appears NZ has it's own disgusting horse welfare issue breaking, in the standardbred industry, wow, don't tell me, chief will be so upset, it's not really cruelty though is it, it's just a few hungry emaciated horses.........oh gee.
  7. Ahhh, a battery saddle, Sammy Mezzasalma, I was riding work at Canterbury when it hit the fan, Mario Caltabiano, they threw the book at them......long time ago, however, Gamma you should know better lad, this prick has such a long list of fines for ....well, it's so long best you google them, but set aside an hour or so.........we need tp piss Weir right off for good, otherwise it gives the betting public a good excuse not to...........it's called 'bringing the industry into disrepute' Mr Weir, so off you go, there's a good chap.......polite enough for you Chief?....see, the anger management thingy works eh.
  8. You'll find Mr Cram is no longer involved with new stipendiary panel TC.......that says a lot.
  9. Let me put you out of your misery, although Nomates might argue that's impossible. Steroids back then were legal, and therapeutic, prescribed by reputable vets, EPO is used for kidney patients, a coagulation drug producing red blood cells in ''large' numbers........why would you even think their is a correlation Chief? You are beginning to worry me Chief.......seek help lad.
  10. Not just Weir Aqua, any turd that needs a battery to get a result with a horse. Worse if it's 2am and in a confined space while being caned with a piece of poly hose as well..... In fact anyone that needs to dope also, there's a low bastard still training that pumped EPO into one of his, pleaded guilty the prick, EPO is as bad, or worse than a battery, it can be lethal, most survive the battery, the Judge seemed to think although Weir should be ashamed of himself, there was no long term damage to the horses......FFS.
  11. Well their thinking that's for sure NM.
  12. Thats me, the one on the left.....
  13. They said I was the best at it they'd seen, gave me a diploma and I thanked them vey fuckin much....
  14. Yep, passed!
  15. Ive seen your passport, your real name was Jim Junkie wasn't it?.....played right back for Rangers?
  16. BTW Billy, steroids aren't/weren't cruel mate, my stable dog was 16, in his last year, to help him we gave him a steroid, he thought he was Brad Pitt right up until his final days, used properly they are marvellous, it's only the fuckwit, small kahuna gym junkie fool that thought steroids were the ants pants and abused the fuck out of them, and paid the ultimate price. HGH on the other hand.......?
  17. Bear with me and I'll elaborate a tad Billy, simply by your reference to Tommy Smith and anabolic assistance. Way back in the good old days when I trained at Flemington I got several horses from a leading SYD stable, over a period of several years we won plenty of races City and country, pulled off some massive plunges, once taking half a million off the bookmakers at Flemington and Moonee Valley in a two week bonanza. The secret?.....really bloody simple, those ex Syd horses were on water based anabolics, stanozolol to be precise, I, acting on the advice of my vet [arguably the best in MEL] put them on oil based anabolics, boldenone, the results spoke for themselves. Those steroids were legal Billy, had been for decades, once we were told to stop, we did, and here's a sting in the tail, one leading MEL stable didn't stop, they had an edge, in the guise of an informed Vet, someone who knew RV weren't testing and of course that stable won plenty. Eventually, well some 12 months down the track, all steroids were banned and they tested rigorously and some fell foul, but the plunges that used to come off started to wane, it became a level playing field again, and the skills of certain trainers came to the fore. One trainer especially, still training today, arguably the best we have seen, someone I'd happily give my neddies to, once he moves to a 'serious' training and racing centre. Hope this helps Billy. JB.
  18. And you root for Celtic too don't you Billy, In this instance you're a tool as many of your posts are good one's, you've missed the boat here though, it's sailed without you mate.
  19. My thoughts, for what they're worth are for Megans family now, I'm sure the close knit SI racing fraternity will rally for them, and NZ Racing will make an extra gratia payment to cover every expense for Megans funeral etc. I really feel for you Pam, you and the other Riccarton trainers, it must have been a very sombre morning there this morning. Hope all the other riders are OK........and someone is looking after the young ladies welfare, that is paramount.
  20. Waking this morning to news chief steward Jamie Stier is now in possession of videos relating to the 'jigging' of horses. We all know who and where, and the doubting Thomas's will skulk away, the betting is how long until there is a leak, those videos will be priceless in the hands of the animal activists. Why the police chose to show only 15 min of these 'horror stories' raises many questions, considering there is 20 days of it ? The intent of VIC's chief steward is clear, Weir should be a worried man, his apologists need take a long hard look at themselves, animal abuse is abhorrent, and any sanction of such should be outed for what it is........
  21. Pray Tell ED, sounds interesting, NZ or Oz?
  22. I'll say it again, however for the last time, Weir is a low prick, a weak man who bullies horses, he belts them, he harps them, he and his backers need to be run out of the industry.......the gutless wonder will enjoy reading his supporters on here and other outlets, it will inspire him no end, at least we get to learn who the people are that think he's an ok guy and deserves to come back. I'll take great comfort in watching their persecution when the time comes, should it, I hope it doesn't of course, for the animals sake, lets see.
  23. Here you go Chief, just for you. Footage of Weir and McLean using ‘jiggers’ on Yogi, Tosen Basil and Red Cardinal while they ran on a treadmill at Weir’s Warrnambool stables was shown in court. Police had 20 days of footage but relied on just 15 minutes, which showed Weir using the jigger on the horses while they ran on a treadmill with Kermond standing behind them and hitting them with a piece of black poly piping, to simulate the sound of a whip. All three horses wore blinkers while on the treadmill, with McLean also involved. Red Cardinal was the first horse on the treadmill, and was hit seven times with the jigger, followed by Tosen Basil and then Yogi, who were both hit approximately nine times each. Red Cardinal competed in the 2018 Melbourne Cup seven days later, and finished last.
  24. BTW Chief, you'll be pleased to learn RVL have reopened the case now they are in possession of the 'videos'........wow, this will be interesting, he was charged with possession, maybe now they'll recharge him with.....wating for it....drum roll.........USE!.........those dastardly Police had the videos, the woke magistrate didn't think the horses suffered too much, ooooh, ...just a little bit........no long term damage though........woopy doo, how the fuck does he know anything about long term damage? How?.....what a talent this man is, he talks to horses.....FFS, this at least might take another turn now, if RVL do the right thing, and maybe, just maybe they will.
  25. To ABUSE.
