  1. Com'on Forbs, he's just having a dig at people's tips. not personal. I thought it was quite funny. You know how people say you put the 'Moz' on something by tipping them, etc.. just a public forum for a bit of fun. Good on ya for backing a winner ! the other thread I tried to help Brodster with a Group 1 quaddie but ended up 2 win, 1 x 2nd , 1 x 3rd but ya gotta be in-it to win-it . keep up the good work son !lol. go go anamoe I say lol.....
  2. Put a leftover $1 on the Group 1 multi at Bathurst tonight then. Gold Crown/Tiara/Chalice/Bracelet finals. Winning combo of 7 -3 - 12 - 4 (races 5 to 😎😎 8 ) gets you a carton and the 'fish and chups' for the weekend at 80-1. nice.
  3. Brodster is known for duelling with the TAB as well. Wonder if he has sharpened his sword yet ? Brodie would be right into duelling if he was a race driver too, unable to work out those mile races for starters, seems he might 'take off' / or 'go off' a bit too early ?
  4. Has the Karaoke machine ?
  5. Agree with all said here. Whats wrong with a bit of a challenge.? Pure Steel and Gammalite and others were up the leader for the rent 2 laps out at times. made for good exciting racing. Brad and Tim got their wires crossed, so 'both horses' chances were diminished in the race out-lined . (It takes 2 to Tango) Last Sunday John Dunn , a first class driver like Tim and Brad ,wasn't gunna hand up the lead on a heavily backed runner THE HORNET in race 8 , no matter what. Wouldn't take a trail on the favourite CARANA (John Hay) when heavily challenged. Carana won still (as very game horse) and John ran no-where with The Hornet ??? same as Tim Williams in this case then ? in my book ................ both wouldn't accept a trail ?, even though it was an 'ability' horse take them on. Chances of win diminished ..
  6. Sarah O'Reilly could follow some of those Victorian Lass'es as a great race driver and be inspired too. Today at Charlton in country Victoria the lady driver's drove the quinella in the G2 Charlton Trotters Cup (Kerryn Manning (4000+ winning drives) with victory and Kate Gath 2nd with the ex-NZer trotter 'HaveHorseWillTravel' and just now,, Jackie Barker and Jodi Quinlan quinella'ed the Group 3 Charlton Pacing Cup on 2 Emma Stewart runners , with good race driving as well. The girls are kicking butt lol...
  7. Wow I remember Kevin's dad 'Doody' Townley. What a horseman !!!! winning Interdoms driving Robin Dundee (dead-heat) and Stella Frost (promoted) and driving trotters too. Drove Sir Castleton at Moonee Valley to beat Scotch Notch on her own turf. !! I thought of Doody as the NZ version of Graeme Lang. great with both pacer and trotter. wonderful families. And I had a special spot for 'Hano Direct' , as she won the 1980 Sydney Interdominion trot final for Doody Townley, and i looked after her for a few days as a young teen when she was sold and waiting in Auckland for the plane to America by John Devlin. That was a bit of a thrill at the time lol. Kevin raced with 'Sundon's Luck' in Aus that I remember. am sure he must of had good pacers too
  8. Hey that is amazing you Won so much !! great return !! ANAMOE won by several lengths jogging too, so you are on the money like Brodster. (he was de-throned a while back by TAB and vaccines anyway) so you are the NEW money man , and on the money lol...... I did come out in front punt yesterday, as took the 'FIREBURN' saver in the Golden Slipper at good odds as he had beaten She's Extreme on a Heavy track 2 starts back , so looked a solid chance. What a great ride to win. Do you remember FIRE FOX racing there ? only just sold to Oz recently. Cleared out by 7 lengths in 1.49.6 mile last night at $1.50 in first Aussie run. Interdominion winning trainer Jason GRIMSON 'On the money' like Forb's with that one !!! lol.... scintillating performance by the ex-pat NZer
  9. 4th Group 1 win and very good run by your pick there. What a great price for a 2nd favourite too at $9-$10 odd. hope you got some. The Melbourne Cup winner VE a gallant 2nd , but that was her lot today. miles clear of 3rd. and heaps more cash in her kitty too.
  10. FORBIDDEN LOVE in the George Ryder R7 is a superior mudder. 4 out of 5 on the heavy shite, and fully fit now too, makes her a 80% certainty lol......
  11. The missus says the old adage that goes like this "Take the grey or the kiwis in the Wet "..... ACHIRA the grey wins the first at Rosehill, by a nose at 10-1 !!!!! thanks missus !!
  12. A Verry Elleegant sort of track today for the Ranvet. No lottery, just another easy win ...
  13. The Golden Slipper is on the cards for Linda Meech today , riding Lady Laguna at 40-1 in the Royal Randwick mud. still raining Sydney. was surprised Linda came back riding after having a baby 2 years ago. such a dangerous profession is race riding. many a lady jock has met with tragedy riding in Aus races (and training riders) Sarah O'Reilly, Nat and the many girls in harness racing around Aus and NZ are certainly much safer with slower speeds and closer to the ground and the sulky to protect them a wee bit. SHE's EXTREME and Brett Prebble are great chance of being the Golden Slipper winners today. fantastic last 2 runs in the wet and is primed for big Payday with the rain still keeping it wet. $2,800,000 for the slipper winner today. wow.....
  14. Yes The old TERROR TO LOVE goes down as a NZ Cup superstar in the 3 wins in the great race. What a marvel. Nah wasn't having a go at Ricky. He drove a great race to win the trot and was only a 'menace' to my betting tickets by knocking me off into 2nd place lol.... he does very well. Yes the MUSCLE MOUNTAIN is being a bad boy from the stands . being costly for himself and punters a few times now. Sundee was Strutting his stuff Very well again though ? 3rd Rowe Cup (off front mark with no handicap) a mere formality for the great horse ?? Now a millionaire after tonights Win !!! congrats to Team 'Diamonds" !!
  15. Perfect drive by Samantha just then on QUIK SHOT at Addington too. But run down by tricky Ricky May who tracked her all the way very unfortunately for the Quik Shot at good 10-1 odds .... go away Ricky ... menace lol........
  16. What about Sam Ottley then Forbs? I Always thought she gave it a decent crack?. 600 odd wins from 6000 odd drives without having the best horse-power to drive. seems pretty good. I was hoping she could of won one of those Group 1's with LA ROSA last season, but got beat a nose a couple of times by the Allstars with 'Bettor Twist'. BETTOR TWIST winning easily just now tonight at Addington for Nat !!! fantastic. 4-1 odds !! hope you got on ... Why didn't your mate BEN HOPE put Nat on Muscle Mountain ???? would be a winner then ? Nat drove a winner for Ben Hope the other day while he was suspended. I hate seeing those good trotters galloping out the back like Muscle Mountain tonight. Is a real shame......
  17. We're pretty lucky in Queensland too Davis !!! . Pete McMullen is the leading (equal with Dixon) trainer/ driver , but wow .... his 3 sisters of Taleah, Narissa and Danielle are just fantastic at rating winners as well , and get plenty of them. along with Brittany Graham too, who drives well when not interviewing Kate Gath after yet another Big Win for her lol....
  18. Invercargill HRC - Friday, 25th February 2022 Race 7 - VET SOUTH EQUINE SOUTHERN BELLE SPEED SERIES MOBILE PACE Driver B Williamson (MABALENE) admitted a charge pursuant to Rule 869(3)(g) in that he drove in a manner likely to diminish the chances of his runner finishing in its best possible position when unsuccessfully challenging for the lead for a considerable distance through the middle stages with no respite. After viewing replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Williamson's licence to drive from the conclusion of racing 6 March 2022 up to and including 20 March 2022 (8 days). No mention of TIM WILLIAMS deminishing his horses chances ??? crazy times at NZ trots lol.. Looks Like it is Brad Williamson and NOT Matt Williamson, that was driving MABALENE. So it should read Brad in the first Instance. (is unlucky to get suspended.) Can you correct that Chief ?
  19. See in the NZ news Chief Doug is preparing for race driving ?? sitting on wheels here , in readiness to be pulled by a horse to be another NZ Spud driver. ?? Matty Williamson one of the few 'non-spud' drivers that gets suspended for having a go in a race, when took the leader on (when Tim Williams fault) SURELY , you are still allowed to take the leader on ???? are they (drivers) all turning into quiet spuds ? Timmy should of watched Luke McCarthy at Menangle in the Miracle Mile to see how you cope with early outside pressure , and he might LEARN something. Couple who believed they had dug up the world’s largest potato in the garden of their small farm near Hamilton have had their dreams turned to mash Doug sits on a trolly in a garden at Donna and Colin Craig-Browns home near Hamilton, New Zealand. 20. 4 starts for 4 wins this year Brodster over all distances , and Not just a Sprinter. Don't forget just last month he WON with ease one of Australia's greatest races over 2800m . The Hunter Cup. defeating Spirit of St Louis and crack NZ stayer Amazing Dream in fast time. One of the very best over any distance his record reflects. A true All-rounder like Gamma lol.... KING OF SWING finishes with 44 wins from 82 career starts and $3.3 Million earnings. By Jingo's !!!! he may of even been a chance of beating GAMMALITE with that sort of record ? lol....
  21. The owners fit in the equation. Village Kid won a couple of Miracle Miles but was 'sold off' by Mr Notman to the West of Australia so has to be an Australian win I guess. Don't sell off your assets is the answer lol..... Great Win for NZ just now in the Newmarket !!! at Flemington. Roch n Horse picking up a cool $Mill for the owners. (hopefully a combo of Nz and Aus ones) party time NZ tonight
  22. Hey I wonder if he'll get Muscle Mountain to muck around with then ?? I would Pay to go to the trots to see that lol,.... if Nat was driving 'Muscle Mountain' for Ben Hope, up against champion 'Sundee's Son' . What a contest that would be ????. (In fairness to Ben , he did steer Muscle Mountain to a Group 1 win over Sundee already once before)
  23. $1,000,000 Miracle Mile is on tonight , biggest Oz race. I count Spirit of St Louis as the NZ runner on this occasion. Is a jolly great show of taking it out too. Last week the kiwi in the NSW Derby final was a good 2nd >> MAJOR PERRY . I was delighted with the winner though with mate Grant Dixon training/driving the Queenslander LEAP OF FAME to victory though (won 9 of last 10 now) to stick it to the NSW boys anyway lol.....
  24. Oh yes I see. I clicked on BEN's name on the HRNZ site and it said 3 Wins from 5 starters !!! wow.... bet he wishes he can keep that strike rate up !! excellent stuff. Yes a few Woodend Distractors around the forums are gunna be devastated with these results. Suck it up fellas..... Ben from a class family with class results like Dunn's , Purdon's etc..... Love it when the new blokes win too, keeps the oldies on their toes lol.......
  25. New trainer Ben Hope put Natalie on REFINE to drive last night at Addington with Instant Top result. $5 win. Well done Ben ! if that's his first training success. and thanks Very much for the driving engagement. good for the pocket. The Aussie girl Nat , naturally winning with her other drive too. Shan Noble. Alas the 35-1 double for Nat went begging as I'm a bit shy of Shan these days. Has been a year since his huge 4th in the NZ derby to KRUG as well, when circled the field from poor draw to sit parked. Had huge multi at $4 place on Shan Noble riding in the derby too, but THE FALCON pipped him for 1/2 head third. Of course The Falcon beaten last night by Shan Noble lol..... that hurts.....lol. But anyway, Well done Mr Ben Hope !! like Brent Mangos with the huge success he had with putting Natalie Rasmussen on SOUTH COAST ARDEN for the Jewels and NZ FFA past year. very smart driving engagements. will more trainers follow that lead now ???????????? I'm about to rip down my Vinnie Knight, Steve Irwin and Shane Warne posters off the wall, as the boys are going down like flies and pop up a Natalie one !!! will look great !!!
