It was Blair Orange telling investigators Mr Wallis and Mrs Williams to F..off the property of Nigel McGrath in March 2020. He ultimately got a $1000 fine . No-one got 7 years for abuse. Blair was lucky to get that mild penalty? with his efforts of interferring with an official investigation.

Grant is a brilliant driver, and has near the best horse in Australia, and just won the Victoria Derby with Leap To Fame. He was always going to be a chance on the back of stablemate and Auckland Cup winner TURN IT UP. (a fast beginner and in-form horse) Think you have to 'Turn It Up' a bit Forb's lol ... you're getting to emotional worrying about driving tactics. We all know you hate Allstars because of this. Barton Cockburn was doing very well as a trainer /driver 5 years ago before getting tangled up with disgraced low as you can go trainer S hunter, Mick grant and assorted fellows that like to bet. Even though they are disqualified sometimes. dragged down Shane Graham our leading Qld river for a couple of years too. But he is back now thankfully. Barton was disqualified indefinitely. one of the drivers did his time 'March' and is back in now too after serving his penalty. So don't worry Forbs .... they still catch these mugs , been good past 5 years. Shane Graham quinella the QUEENSLAND Cup last week with old kiwi war horses . Who's a bad driver in this race then ? ALL these drivers go great in my opinion , and are the main 11 drivers, that go around in most races. All good Basil mate. I think this forum has some 'real fans' of harness racing, compared to what I've seen elsewhere. And everyone always enjoys Cup week hopefully. No words from Chief S though .Hes given us the flick I think 😆. The great NZ horses CT and SA have thwarted the Aussie raiders this week , the trotters are phenominal. Sundee's Son , well what more can you say ?. I agree with your Top 2 rating. A megafast 3.56 2 miles last year in Dominion and 3.58 this year. High performance alright. And need to throw in 2 or 3 more trotters in to your mix like Petite Evander (taking on the world) No Response beating the Aussies with his brilliant Interdom at Addington. Pride of Petite winning interdominions off 30m and then 40m behind in the 90's. In fact NZ trained trotters WON every Trotters Interdom in the 1990's (all 9 of them !! ) .amazing.

Mark Purdon patience and judgement Masterclass !!! Heart stopped for a moment there as the great Nz FFA finish with the 2 Aussies hammer and tongs turning for home !!!!! But the one and only champion of New-Zealand Mark Purdon said " No Way Aussies !!" and takes the Victory !!!!!!! Had flashback to my day at Addington and the Purdon runner Luxury Liner downed the Cup winner Lightning Blue on the line. with a packed field around them. The NZ FFA should be worth 1/2 mill and be a feature of the year.

What was going on there? The problem with having stablemates in a race possibly. Mr Orange and Mr Butcher were killing each other in that. How will Blair explain not keeping the trail after being attacked ? any thoughts Galah, Blackie , Brodster ? or anyone that just saw it?

It's the Group 1's that are the prime plums in most people's opinion. Nz Cup day last Tuesday, had 3 of them BIG Group 1's... Allstars won 2 of them (a quinella in the Sires Stakes that they won for a staggering 8th time/year In a row. The other Group 1 , their 3 horses ran exceptionally well for 3rd, 4th, and 5th. great stuff. The first 2 home in the Cup being near the best 2 horses in Oz and Nz. I'd say without being upset. Certainly not the 'worst' Cup day. In fact Extremely Good result and am sure their owners are very happy once again. Can't wait for Millwood Nike today . You need spec savers... Majestic Cruiser had already gone past the unlucky Self Assured by that stage. Tony got the puncture from the battling Krug (an inside tyre) who was pushed out onto him by the tiring Kango at the 300m mark. .. Cam Hart on the Aussie Cruiser had already won the battle to keep Tony behind Akuta at the 400m.
