1999 - 2021 - 2041 - The Past - Present - Future

Where to from now? -
Just to add and it seems I'm talking to myself here lol, the question was asked about commentaries from Ozzie, guy on the radio said they are working on it so it seems at this point it's not their failing. On another note I think they are having a new show tomorrow for the harness followers so things are getting better, be fair to say all these programmes you can listen too through the website when it's suits.

Just looking through senz radio programming for this arvo, 2 till 5 or 6 of the good oil which will probably be all talk as there is no nz racing then after that a rerun of the Saturday session, that's the sports talk before the racing, why not just a few more hours of racing? Unless you have a proper racing coverage as was the old trackside how will you drag the audience in,they will just listen or watch elsewhere. One thing I noticed is tv 1 when they covered the Olympics did a good job of it, their coverage was based around what was of most interest to people in nz. No reason why senz cant have trackside type programming for 8 hours or so at least on Saturdays and holidays broadcasting what is of most interest to the nz audience, which is nz racing and the main meetings in oz, surely it can't be that difficult. by doing that you only need to be in one place all day, seems simple. As I've stated before putting things on apps on smartphones is fine but heaps of times when I'm working it's just not so easy to do that, same for others I would say as well.

We are living in very dangerous times. As for harness racing and racing as a rule if they cant run their business properly and if lockdowns like this one continue off and on it's got to have some lasting damage on the whole industry and it ain't that healthy now. -

Interesting listening briefly to zb, a guy from the South Island hacked off with this control freak,Adern continuing to stuff the economy by grinding it to a halt, in his words saying it's only a matter of time before China take us over, they created this virus and stand to be the great benefactors in the aftermath, so while my post about 2041 may seem humorous the reality is we are heading for doomsday if we continue with these numbskulls in Wellington. -
Who would read all that🤔

Gee if Auckland stay in lockdown too long they might close Alexandra Park and reopen Forbury which may well be problematical as what to do with it. -

Ok its year 2041, the Chinese who have taken over New Zealand have decided that horse racing is no longer relevant for New Zealand so have decided to cull out racehorse, the task has been made easier by the fact everybody gave up ten years earlier because the lockdown which lasted 8 years was just too tough on owners trainers and club finances.😁 -
Everyone ready for level four! Covid 19... Again

I see the Andertons have some runners at this stage for Ashburton, what are the rules as in travel, there are one or two other southerners in the fields as well. -
Maybe someone has stated this fact but I think and I might be wrong but fast work is frowned on because if you have a accident then because the hospitals are so full up that they can't or may not be able to come to your aid, or something like that, I may be wrong on that.

Racing without crowds, a fairly common occurence now anyway😄

Half the time I tune in to senz it's just reruns ,why they don't dedicate a proper Raceday coverage is beyond me,it's no problem having cricket for about 8 hours non stop, why not racing, they don't have commentaries or anything from Aussie,if the TAB could broadcast races what's the problem then, people who are diehard race followers will get their blanket coverage off the simulcast on website or rova app, senz app,etc etc if they want to push their rating then first thing is to pull their finger out of their fucking arsehole.

Just to add I now and then look back at the results, the harness site is very good for that, somehow I think harness racing has been in a spiral down for a long time,I know we must live in the present but looking back one wonders why it's got to the state it's in. -

I see 2 arrested in Northland for not wearing a mask,I guess it's not easy for the supermarket workers who are in contact with so many people everyday, especially in the hot spots, many probably dont wear them properly as it is,I just see a guy in cook islands on the news not even having his nose covered, its all a bit confusing to me. -

Getting back to Afghanistan, pretty unreal scenes really, people holding on to the plane as it takes off,not the sort of place you would want to be if you develop a itchy nose, kind of sad that sections of human beings could behave at such levels just to get away from a criminal gang who have strolled into town, what a mess. -
