Stay close to Flinders Cook station for train out to Flemington. Book a reserved seat Hills Stand for good view of track. Don't do a restaraunt meal package on course - enjoy ground floor public action - more enjoyable and Ozzie know how to serve good food in public arena. Have a beer with Weir Enjoy the trip

The issue that amazes me with Ellerslie is that they have a ready market of serious gamblers in the city yet they cannot get them on course - what is going wrong - they could and should race 30 days a year with 15 thousand on course each meeting - time they talked to the potential punters and ask them what would bring them on course
