They are all from the South Island, Retard! Has the North Island got no good or bad drivers?
-
Good on Hurrell for advising us that The Spitfire is going that well that he is his best chance of the day! He is now probably good enough to win them in a row now. Should we take it in a quinella with another Aveross drawn outside Spitfire in Averos Shadow? He is a 21 start unplaced maiden so it is on its way as well! Good luck to the new owners and Hurrell and Hoffman, surely this is the last roll of the dice????

Spittie, has had a change of owner as well. Owned by a couple of syndicates and a couple of individuals as well! They clearly see the potential in a 56 start, for one place horse, and must think it could be a gold mine. Good on them if they can get a win out of it, wouldve gone for big money you would think? Did Faulks, O’Connell and Negus finally say, enough is enough? Amber Hauffman is a good trainer on the beach, so maybe she can create a miracle and get the result the new owners desire? You would have to be a fruit loop to be backing it to win at such pathetic odds!

HaHaHAHaHaHa!!!! The accountants opened it up at $4.20 and someone has put $20 to win on it!!! They have it so short after leading all the way and beating 2 unqualifieds????? The horse that finished second was going a helluva lot better than Spitfire as it wasnt even hooked out! Kt would be great if he could win a race, and yes the field is not that flash! However, the accountants are taking the piss seriously, if they think that winning a qualifying trial beating 2 others makes it a $4.20 favourite after 56 starts!!!!!

Brodie replied to Brodie's topic in Trotting Chat
Just tired i think! At least she trotted the whole way, may have turned the corner -
Mile stands! Yeah nah! Matt Cross says might be the way to go! Lol Why do they bother, mobile miles are bad enough but make Them stands??

Trotting Rule- When do you get disqualified for galloping??

Once again they have tried to sneak it under the rug as if BOAY posters are blind. It galloped too far we all know that. -
You certainly haven’t restrained in expressing an opinion Forbury! Lol

Trotting Rule- When do you get disqualified for galloping??
Brodie replied to Brodie's topic in Trotting Chat
Personally believe it galloped well over 150 metres from warching Trackside replays. The fact is the Stewards report says nothing at all about distance it has galloped, shows that they are trying to hide that tney have stuffed up again. They should be able to tell us exactly how many metres the horse galloped for,,I say well over 150metres so should have been disqualified without doubt! Do I think that it is another wrong decision by the racing officialdom? Of course it is, but they continue to come and do not think they are going to come right unless they have a cleanout! Peter Lamb is still starting races in the South Island, just shows us all how incompetent or lacking integrity, the RIU unit is! -
Can someone please explain the current rule for galloping trotters at the beginning of a race??? I thought I knew what it was, until last night! Call Me Trouble clearly put up a fantastic performance to win the last race at Cambridge last night! However, it is very surprising that it was allowed to retain its first position as it galloped for the first 200 metres by the look of it on Trackside. The Stewards report about it was extremely brief and was not forthcoming as to why it was allowed to retain its position and not be disqualified! The Racing Integrity Unit seriously should change its name! Do not get Brodie wrong, it was the best horse by far on its performance, however does that mean it shouldnt have to comply with the harness NZ rules? Does anyone know why it was not disqualified??

Interesting! Probably makes more sense due to foaling timing!

Doug , it is utter BS! There is clear evidence that there has been so much fraudulent acts during the election vote it is not funny. TheSocialists just want Trump out, and didnt care how it was done! Biden is not going to be around very long at all, he looked shocking on TV this morning and Harris is going to be very bad for the U.S. Yes Trump had some not so great traits, but he did a helluva lot better job than many of the other Presidents and was actually growing the country. There is going to be hell to pay by the U.S. citizens going forward. The clowns that voted Ardern in are already starting to complain about things! The thing is that the Democrats want to have less police etc. do not know how that is going to work with all the rioting etc. Bloody hypocritical that the mainly peaceful protest by the Trump supporters was not ok, and yet the Black Lives Matter, rioting looting and pillaging in supposed support of several Black Men life criminals is just fine??????

New season is 7 months away! How long does it take to have colours made and approved? Doesnt make sense if you are wanting to make a name for yourself, when you are hanging onto someone else’s success, by using their colours! Is it the owners who want to keep the colours?

Basil you have not shown us a single thing in wring from SAFE that says that they have or had the harness whip on their agenda!!!!! You say you got someone saying that they didnt like it after you wrote to them!!! ! FFS, I reiterate a spokesperson for SAFE on TV stated that the Harness whip was not on their agenda they had other things on their agenda!!!! On their website where does it show the use of the harness whip to be concerning for them? I could put it on here that I wrote to them and they said that they lime the harness whip use! What you stated ks a nothing, Basil and you know that!

Methven do it on the grass once a year! Crazy stuff and not beneficial for anyone Mikey! The U.S. luv the miles but even those dont have standing starts! Seriously, whoever made this decisions to run miles at Nelson should be in the U.S. Leave the punters out of this craziness. You draw the second line or miss away slightly over the mile and you might as well pull your horse up! Yes there will be punters that bet into them, but anyone that is serious wont be touching them with a barge pole, expecially with Mr RIIIIIGHTTTTT at the helm!
-
To be fair Galah, Hayden did leave Cambridge and left the training to the stablehands Mark and Nat! Long way from home and must be a helluva lot of pressure MENTORING! FFS, Hayden Cullen has been in harness racing a long time and was in partnership with a top trainer Brent Mangos! Now I am wondering what possibly Hayden Cullen could be taught that Brent Mangos doesnt know about??

Be a better vet than a starter!
-
I was under the impression that Nelson Trotting Club has a few financial problems? If so, why on earth would they be programming races over 1609metre STANDING STARTS? Miss away at Nelson from a stand over a mile and you have no show whatsoever as they will run time? To run miles from the mobile is bad enough, but from a flipping stand with P Lamb as the starter???? The trainers must have just wanted a holiday to have gone to Nelson to race from a stand over the mile! Ridiculous really, and you would have to be crazy to be betting into that SHITE!!!
-
Good win for Copy That tonight, well deserved! As I say hopefully the worm has turned and the big stake money is going to be shared around! I wouldnt guarantee it though, until the mentor and co. Are no longer involved!
-
I think that Hayden shouldve stayed up at Cambridge so that he could mentor his stable drivers! Poor drive on Italian Lad, gave punters no chance whatsoever and stinking hot favourite! Has the stable come back to the field, lets hope so!
-
Purdon is clearly still pulling the strings! Not a new stable at all! Mentoring, any after hour mentoring going to happen?
-
Basil, for FS!!!!! You wrote that to SAFE, and that was their response!!!!! You are a clown if you think they were going to write anything else, than that! They also dont like people standing on snails, or catching mice, or over feeding seagulls!!!! Show us the literature or paraphanalia that showed that SAFE had a problem with the harness whip!!!! You can not because there isnt any, is there BASIL, you are the porkie teller!!,,
-
Hayden Cullen must have the confidence in the stablehands, Mark Purdon and Nat Rasmussen, that they can look after the horses at Cambridge well enough!
-
Big boots Hayden Cullen is going to have to fill, those of Nat and Mark. He is going to have to up the wages to Tim and co. As he just will not be able to cope with the pressure. His current big spending owners are going to want the continuation of big results! While Mark and Nat are around the results you would think would be the same, providing the special training techniques are employed!
