I am talking about what it should have been Mikie! It was a start and therefore there should not have been any late scratchings! Everyone would have backed something that has been checcked at the start and never got their money back!!! It is another mistake by officialdom that has been made unless this is new policy?

When is a start not a start! Once again the tape had been released and the race is therefkre started! Fact is that both those horses should not have been scratched as the start had been called. Yes not great if you have backed either horse but this has not been the norm previously, so why the change???.

Hopefully the new CEO is going to be based fulltime in ChCh! If he is allowed to remain in Wellington it willl just be an absolute waste of time And money!! Chief is correct! Bearing in mind free bets etc.will have a bearing in turnover! Imagine how much more the turnover would be if the NZ TAB actually allowed punters to offload, rather than restricting them to bugger all? When I look at the tote dividends, a lot of the time I just wonder why punters still bother with the tote? The TAB doesnt care at all about our local product, as long as they hold their jobs!

Seriously, you would think they would be training up someone that is much younger than Peter Lamb for when he falls off his ladder! The fact that they arent seems to show that HRNZ are happy to have standing starts that are just sub standard! A start nowadays in Canterbury Is just when every horse is at the start! It doesnt matter whether the horses are in a line, standing back, standing side on, playing up etc. as long as they are so ewhere near the tapes, they will be let go RIIIIIIIGT! HRNZ are obviously happy with the starter so they wont do anything about it! It is good that clubs try things different but can not see the point in racing from a stand over 1700metres as it is just so hard if you do not begin well!

I posted re the race being on trackside 2 and several said it was on TS1 as if I was having them on, and I was wrong as they saw it on TS1! I was told to go and get glasses because it was not on 2! Now we know it was on both channels for some reason, we have still got clowns saying that I was wrong for assuming that it was not on Trackside 1 for some reason? Go fathom! Point was that a minor dogs race from Cranbourne seemed more important to the NZ TAB than a biggish race in NZ!!!!

My point was that they have a big race and they immediately chop to the boxes at Cranbourne!!!!!! How ks this great for our local product? Are you saying that this pacers race was Meant to be on Trackside 2 and everyone who had been watching Ashburton turned over to Trackside 2 for this race only??? As you can see Cranbourne dogs was following Ashburton race and my point was that they showed the Trotters mile and as soon as it finished they switched straight over to the boxes at Cranbourne!! my point is that we are getting a shit service for the NZ product! Anyway once again Brodie is on the money despite some saying that he has poor eyesight and making things up! Apologies accepted!

For you non believers. Race 5 Tonight at Bendigo was showing in Orange which is channel 63 for NZ, unless someone can tell me otherwise? The NZ TAB webbsite says that race 5 at Bendigo was going to be shown on Trackside 1, so that is blue if I know anything!!!! What I am saying is that they showed the race on the wrong channel which is what they obviously did the other day as well!!! I will accept your apologies which is owing to The Brodster!!!!!

Mikie, I know after the race they quickly shot over to the dogs from Cranbourne which was played on trackside 2 for that race. The result came up in Orange!!! If people on here just want to be antagonistic and not contribute postings apart from trying to be smart, then The Brodster just can not be bothered! I have got far better things to do than waste my time posting with small minded pedantic people! I will leave it up to the others to post as I am over and out! Then the ones that recorded it should be able to photograph the results and post them and it should be blue rather than Orange! Until I see that I know that the result was in Orange! Are races not being transferred to the lther channel than advertised??? I await!
